This remote is so much better than what we had before! One remote to take care of all the devices is SO handy. Three devices were set up within minutes.

Picked this one up because it was rated highly, and promised ease of setup. Bonus points for being pre-programmed to work with my Sony receiver. It took me a couple of tries to learn how to input codes (because I misread the instructions twice) but once I reread them correctly, it was easy to run through the codes for the TV. Sadly, there isn't a website I could use to look up the proper code for my model of TV, but I got it right on the third (of a dozen) codes.

Great Remote For the Job

Was surprised that it worked with the Roku as well making it even better than expected. Works great and I have had it for a month or so now without issue.

This new SONY was easy to set up and works beautifully. Instruction are printed right on the remote in addition to printed brochure.

I thought I would have to program it but to my surprise, the remote worked right off the package. No programming, no nothing. I love this remote.

I thought that since everything was Sony, there would be advanced functionality for turning on and off the right components. This ended up not being the case...you needed to turn components on and off individually. The big killer was lack of support for the smart TV functions. I gave up on the Sony Universal Remote, ordered a Logitech Harmony Smart Control, and I couldn't be happier.

Bottom line if You have a Memorex Dvd Player This Is not The Product For You But If You Have A JVC MINI HIFI Component System Go For It
