works as advertised...had to buy it because my tv was an open box and didn't come with it

This remote was easy to setup and even easier to use. Bought it to replace a lost Blu-Ray remote and ended up using it for everything. Definitely would recommend it to others.

Great price for a great product!! Very easy pairing to my devices. I got rid of my high dollar "Harmony" remote with this and I am glad I made the switch.

This remote is just okay. Sometimes it worked, and sometimes we had to hit the buttons several times before it would switch from the TV to DVD. We ended up going back to the two remotes we originally had before purchasing this one.

This remote is so easy and makes it possible to get rid of all the "extra" remotes that are cluttering up the living room. We are now able to operate everything with just one remote.

One of the best universal remotes in the $30 or less category. Especially good if you already have SONY products, should already recognize the device. Used in my household for a 2012 SONY Blu-ray player, 2007 Panasonic Plasma television, and a 1999 SONY 5-channel DTS receiver.

The Sony remote had all the options I was looking for but it was difficult to program to an insignia TV and a to toshiba blue ray player I ended up returning the remote.

I bought this with my Sony 40 inch TV. It worked right out of the box. All I had to do was put batteries in it (which came w/ the remote). Overall, i'm very pleased because I didn't need something super extravagant or anything like that. This gets the job done for a decent price.

We were in our RV 1000 miles from home and we lost the remote to our Blu Ray player. Went to the local Best Buy and the associate there recommended this one and it worked first code out of the box. The hardest thing to do was to put in the batteries and that wasn't hard at all.

It really serves its purpose. And also for a reasonable price. Can't complain at all

When I stopped my service with my satellite provider, I had to return the remote control too, which was set up to control both my TV and my receiver. I noticed this remote on sale, purchased online and picked it up in the store. The remote works great for adjusting the sound on my receiver, which is what I mostly use it for. The one issue I have with the remote is that while I’m able to use it to turn the receiver on, the same button won’t turn it off. So I have to manually turn it off. This isn’t the biggest deal, since I’m normally exiting the room when I want to turn it off, and only have to take a couple of steps out of the way, but it is still something I wish I didn’t have to do. Outside of that, the remote works well and I’m happy with my purchase.

It took a while because the listed code didn't work, but after trying the alternate instructions a couple of times even this non-techie got it. It was reasonably priced, too.

In a recent move to NY, two remotes got misplaced, one very expensive one for a smart TV. This very inexpensive Sony product is handling a Samsung smart tv, and a BluRay player.

Works just great. No problems. The most difficult part was programming the buttons.

I like it, it comes in handy using just one remote. But lately I have been having to bang it a little to get the buttons to work.

It is a great product and it does exactly what you would expect from it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to control a few devices with a single remote control. It is also very easy to program for controlling different devices beside Sony.
