i have never used a universal remote and when our DVD players was stolen, i decided to buy this instead of the one that is from the manufacture it took a little time however i was able to use it for my tv also-works great

Great remote it's an all in one and very convenient.

I like the ideas of one remote. With this universal I cannot use it to turn on the sound system, but once it is on, the remote will increase or decrease the volume. It will not change the television from watching cable to watching a DVD. Again one, the change is made with the television remote, the universal will work. The problem with the television is that it is too new to have the code available to enter into the universal remote setup.

Hey there! The remote is awesome. I lost a little remote to my tv while I was moving that had a roku button etc. Only complaint is that code you use to sync the remote to the TV in the manual was incorrect. I tried every variation it didn’t work. I ended up having to google some “TT” code and found one that worked. But I won’t leave a terrible review because it was just the chances based on the tv I have. But the manufacturer should update the book!

I was tired of having multiple remotes for my tv, DVD and satellite tv box. I'm no tech and it was fairly easy to program. I think this is a mid to average quality remote, but I am satisfied.

relatively easy to set up. volume and channel buttons very easy to operate. only use for a tv so all the other functions are'nt needed.

While it does not handle some of the special keys on my Blu-Ray Player, this remote does a great job across all of our electronics.

I bought this remote to replace an older remote for a Sony DVD player. It was easy to program and works perfectly. All the functions work properly and I've had no trouble. Worth the price!

Great RFI beam spread yet poor button functionality and lacks LED backlighting, but for the price it's a fair trade.

My VCR had a remote that did not allow me to change the length of taping (2 hrs. to 6 hrs.) and would not allow me to record a program in the future. My new device does these things and more and it is done very easily.

Bought it to replace a broken tv controller for a tv that is about 7 years old. Connected to the tv, blue ray player, and the analog to digital antenna converter in a matter of minutes. Really easy to set up and use.

This remote was much better quality and worked much better than the logitech universal we bought. The logitech broke on us so we decided to get the Sony, no programming required.

This was a free add on when I purchased a store model receiver. It has connected great with just a little getting use to it.

This is a great replacment remote, especially if you own Sony electronic products. No programming is necessary. If you do have to program it is really easy. I programmed my blu-ray player in under a minute.

Purchased this product when our OEM was lost and it synced perfect with our Sony TV, BRDVD, and other Sony products we have. It was great range and no delay. Overall worth the price

Works pretty well I to it to control my surround system, but when I saw it worked all devices kne I got a good product..

I purchased this remote for an older VCR just so I could transfer tapes to DVD. This remote activated all the features of the VCR (which some will not) like the onscreen timer.
