This remote did not have atll the function buttons needed to program it own (Sony) DVD recorder. The set up instructions were minimal at best, it took too long to get it to respond to the programming for set up. I was very disappointed to have it work so badly. The Sony DVD recorder has always worked so well, still does but now I cannot program it correctly.

Stopped Working after 2 weeks on my DVD player

In trying to consolidate and have only one remote for the TV and cable - this remote was the best option for the brand of TV we have. However, after successfully making the connection with the TV, it was not possible to connect to the Comcast cable box. Disappointing.

Too many codes and not the one I needed
