This remote was never even removed from shipping container. I upgraded to a different model which better accepted all my devices per geek squad technician. I cannot give a review of this product, due to my specific circumstances with my home theater system.

Good remote on the cheap
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this remote to replace two older remotes, one for a VCR and one for a Panasonic TV that the remote started to stop working. Setup was straightforward, just a matter of smashing buttons until it reached the correct code for your device. After that, it controls everything beautifully. The buttons feel great, the remote looks nice on the coffee table & the range seems excellent. The only downside, is that it is somewhat bulky in your hand. There seems to be quite a bit of wasted space at the bottom of the remote, making it awkardly large. It's not a big deal, just annoying. The next complaint would be the lack of ANY sort of backlit buttons. I would have at least liked to have the "device" buttons backlit when you pressed it, so you know which device its set on when you're using it. No big deal though... It was so cheap, and works good enough that I don't care. Overall a good replacement remote for a few devices you may have lost that remote to.

So only 4 stars for that as well as not working with my Apple TV - well priced nonetheless.

You may try resetting the remote by removing the battery then pressing twice every buttons available on the remote. After doing that, install the batteries and try again progamming to your TV. Thanks. Joffrey.
