Got this to replace the cable company remote. Very easy to set up. Primarily use for TWC cable box and Samsung tv, but it also works with Sony blueray player. Easy to read even without backlight. Great IR range from about 10ft and at an angle. Wish it had the keys for ABC functions color coded to match on-screen tv guide.

Bought with the hopes of programming to my Roku player. It took a little searching for the code, but it works just fine. It operates my TV, Amplifier, Blue Ray player, and Roku. Good Product.

I took a chance with this remote because I didn't want to spend $50+ on a remote. Works my Sony a/v blu-ray and Insignia tv. What's even better is that it also controls my xbox. Time will tell if it holds up, but so far so good.

I purchased this remote because i lost my Sony TV remote. I took this one out of the package and put in the batteries and it works great. It's already programmed for Sony equipment .

Worked after inserting the first code for my TV brand. Never had that happen before! Works like a charm, and being used by a technologically impaired lady. It is everything I would expect from a brand like Sony. It met my expectations after reading the other reviews.

My wife and I were always looking for a remote for 3 different gadgets and where the last person left it. Finally I said " hey this is 2010 and not the dark ages " Were going to get 1 remote to do all the toys and 2 of the exact same brand. Now we have a HIS & HERS remotes exactly the same. Life is good............

Thie remote does the what you need on 7 different devices. I like the way it works and it was easy to program. I now use this for my dvd player, tv, and pioneer reciever. I recommend this remote for the average user.

Lost the original Sony remote, could use this right out of the package without any programming, just as if it was the original. I was delighted, this has never happened before, always had to program or set something up, but not with this model. Great purchase to match with a Sony TV.

We are totally satisfied with this remote. The one we got from Walmart Phillips was a piece of junk and could not get it to work on the VCR. I do not reccomend that one. This one from Best Buy is a much nicer product for around the same price.

Our receiver is a bit old and no new or used remotes were available to buy so we went with this replacement unit. We are only using it for the one A/V unit right now but it can run up to 7. Easy to set up.

This remote is great to replace a Sony remote that no longer functioned because it worked right out of the package, however, this is already the second remote we had to purchase because some of the number keys no longer functioned making it difficult to direct change channels that are not close together. Wish they had a longer lasting version.

I bought this as a replacement for the remote that originally came with my Sony TV. I followed the directions very carefully and found the set up was done easily. It immediately began to work!

I got this remote as a replacement. Turns out it's nice to combine them all in to one.

Got it home, put the batteries in it and expected to have to perform some sort of programming but, voila, it turned the tv on and channel changes from the first instant.

I purchase this remote because we lost the original remote with the Sony TV. It is a great replacement and a lot cheaper that buying one of the originals. Thanks, Carl

Its a great product and is doing what it is exactly suppose to do.. I am glad I did not buy the more expensive one.. The only thing which can be done is may be realligning the buttons to make it a little user friendly as somehow you always keep pressing the wrong buttons, but all in all a great dditiona, I got rid of my TV, DVD, and DirecTV remotes... Setup took less than 5 minutes for all three products..

The remote control seems to work well but it's on the expensive side.

Purchased to control my Samsung TV and my Sony Blu Ray player; works wells.
