works good but some buttons dont work for the blueray player

I have no qualms about the remote the only thing is I can't access some of my menus on my TV I have an LG and what would be used as a enter button doesn't work maybe that's how it's programmed but it does the important thing which is turn on and off the TV

Multifunctional and easy to use, everything I need in one remote.

This remote is some what easy to program, and use in every day life. 8 years ago this would have been a top of the line product, however that's when it was designed for. Its button functionality with modern equipment is lacking. This can make it tricky if not impossibly to use it on many newer devices. If you want something to run the cable and tv on the same switch and threw your last remote through the window on Monday night foot ball get it. Other wise don't cheap out and get a nicer remote for your nicer stuff. (I wish I did)

Worked for when we lost the smaller remote for our Sony Blu-ray player, which our toddler put somewhere. Not sure why the blu-ray player itself didn't have a regular button to press play though.

It was easy to find the correct codes for the TV and cable box but I cannot get it to start both with one button. I have to turn on the TV then hit the cable button to turn that on.

I was not able to get it to funtion completly with my BlueRay disc player. It works with most other unts in the house.

A universal remote is a must have nowadays! And you have to trust Sony products. Don't know about you, but I go through remotes like crazy. Well not me in particular, but the kids with their throwing them about and such!

Not much to say. Bought this today and it's doing exactly what I need it to do. Better than paying almost a hundred bucks for the lcd remotes.

IT's not the cheapest remote, but it's definitly one of the best. It's compatible with all the devices that I have. I don't see any downside to this remote yet.

I recently bought an open box receiver from my local store and the clerk was going to "throw in a remote" with the cost since the open box unit's remote was missing. This was the model he grabbed. I let him pick it out since I was under the assumption it would be included in the price of the receiver. I noticed later I was charged for the remote anyway. Well, I get home and start trying to use this thing. It was fairly easy to program in all of my devices, except for my Sony Blu-Ray player. You would figure that would be the easiest one, but no. The remote works ok for the tv/blu-ray, but not for the receiver or cable box so really there is no reason for the thing unless your not using those pieces. No way to control most of the functions of either the cable or receiver, so a waste of 20 bucks.

Seems decent, I didn't realize they made remotes that didn't have a learn feature. No fault to this remote, it would be great if I had one of the many brands it supports, but it couldn't operate our AV Receiver. We are going to exchange it for the RM-VLZ-620 SKU# 7689156

I had to replace my remote that broke for my flat screen and this remote is a great replacement.

it is an amazing remote. it worked with all of my things that use remote and it is very affortable. i recommend it to all my friends and they are liking almost as mutch.

After fiddling around with a million remotes we finally got one that does it all. What took us so long to get one? Really reasonable and amazingly efficient.

This remote has just the right buttons to allow me to interact fully with my cable box as well as the TV at an unbelievable price.

I now have three of these remotes. All function beautifully from distances up to over 20 feet. Doesn't get any better than that!

While this remote is adequate for replacing a number of different remotes, it could be much better. I shouldn't have to tell the remote to switch to the DVR player if I press the pause button, and there should be a way of auto-programming the remote to use the theater package for volume control, but instead, you have to press the appropriate device button, and then go with your requested action. In addition, you should be able to manually program certain buttons for a given action. Disappointing.

I really thought my replacement universal remote problems were over when I bought TWO of these(for two separate TVs). It was a little tricky to set codes but not bad. What really makes me angry is the fact that the number buttons stopped working after less than a year. Even though the price remained under $30 between the first and second one I purchased I think one should be able to expect a longer lifespan! When a device stops working like this I consider it a piece of inferior junk.

It took a while to get this remote to even set up with my TV but it will not work at all with my DVD player which is the same brand as my TV and only a few years old. Most of the functions on the remote won't work like the sleep function and I don't like that it doesn't light up. It's a shame that for having "seven fuctions" it can barely do one.
