The buttons feel normal and the preset is no fuss. I have not dropped it but durability seems good and well-built. The only issue and it is a very minor one, regards the contour of the bottom of the controller. I use the remote for a kitchen television, so I am not usually holding it but rather use it while sitting on the countertop. Since the bottom of the remote is slightly contoured when you press the buttons toward the side of the remote it can cause it to tilt back and forth. So like I said very minor.

It worked right away with an older Sony DVD player connected to our new Sony Bravia 40" TV. The remote now works with both the DVD player AND the TV, so it was more convenient than we thought. Quick, simple setup. Just make sure you buy batteries with it because it does not come with any (two AA size needed to run it).
