The remote control is the old style so my parents like it. The remote also has two distinct buttons for YoutTube and Netflix so no need to maneuver with clicks and etc to get to the apps. It's SONY so you can't go wrong. If you have old devices you plan to connect to it you may want to grab a TV that's a 1080 resultion. The 4K will make old devices not look that great. Specially if you buy a 80+ inch 4K TV!
