    Best TV HANDS DOWN!

I've got 4 other smart tv's, 2 of which are of the same brand as this, and this one surpasses them all. If you are looking for a fantastic clear crisp picture with every fine detail this is the tv you want. Believe me it's worth the extra money for this one! This tv has all the techy stuff on it you want with all of the apps and yet it's very user friendly too. I can't brag enough about this tv and my other 2 smart tv's are also made by Sony and are still going strong. Sony is in a class all on their own. The technology and all the extras you get on this tv are most definitely worth it! Thank you Sony, this one surpassed all my expectations!

    Amazing Television

So I was looking for a new TV. My 60 inch LG I purchased about 7 years ago died. I previously brought a VIZIO® D-Series™ 65" 64.50" Diag. 2160p 120Hz Ultra HD Full-Array LED Smart TV - D65-E0. Now what amazed me is when I brought my Vizio I thought that picture was awesome but my wife wasn't impressed. I have the Xbox One X and I have a 4K Upscale Bluray and the picture is nice but nothing compared to this Sony. This is the first television I have ever purchased that I turned it on and my wife and looked at one another with our mouths wide open! We sat back and channel surfed and the programming looked like we were in the same room! Then we went to YouTube and found a 8K video and sat in amazement watching it. This is the most awesome television I have ever seen, or brought and I am honestly thinking about selling my Vizio just to buy another one of these to put in my man cave. Sony the one and only? Yes I would have to say this is spot on. Again I am not easily impressed but this is one BAD product and if you can buy one YOU BETTER YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! I end this with the term HOLY COW!!!! #AMAZINGPICTURE!!!

Purchased on sale for $999 and was somewhat hesitant and expected to get a bargain 4K TV at that price and size. I have always have middle of the road Samsung HDTVs and this is my first 4K purchase. I am very happy with the TV about 2 weeks into owning it. The picture is amazing. I have it hooked up to a 2.1 soundbar so no issues with lack of sound for me, personally I think if you are getting a TV this size then you should invest in some quality audio as well. Smart TV options work well, easy to link Netflix and YouTube accounts with dedicated buttons on the remote. Also nice feature is USB ports, put some movies, songs or pictures on a USB drive or external HD and you have a lot of options. Menus could be somewhat overwhelming to basic users but offer a lot of nice options. If this TV continues to work this well than I feel like I got quite the deal. No dead pixels/lines/etc so far with heavy use first few weeks. Sports look amazing, video games are great and no blurring or issues with refresh rate. Highly recommended!

    Great set - priced right

I went with this set because it’s a lot of tv for the money. The picture is clear and bright, and when playing 4K content, it’ll knock your socks off. We replaced a 6 1/2 year old Sharp Aquos that I also bought here and never had a problem with. This Sony is like night and day as far as picture quality goes. Sound is good enough for us. Very happy with this purchase!

I purchased this TV back in 2018, and it was worth every penny. I bought this TV specifically for the stand it came with, so it could fit on my slightly shorter TV stand. Great Speakers, great graphics, I would buy this TV again if something were to happen to it. The only cons are moving it, because it's huge lol

Got this one for Thanksgiving, replaced my 55" Sony with 70". Yes there is some LED bleeding you may see in dark backgrounds. Most all LED TV got some bleeding, overall picture quality is amazing. I would recommend this TV.

My 55" Samsung plasma bit the dust, and I wanted to replace it with a set with a larger screen. I really wanted a QLED, but the wife balked at the price. I found this TV on sale for $999, and I've always had good luck with Sony stuff, so I decided to give it a shot. I am very pleased with the purchase. Admittedly, I don't care much about apps -- all I want in a TV is to watch cable channels and Netflix. The picture is bright and clear, no blurring that I could see even when watching sporting events. It certainly doesn't have a QLED-quality picture, but it's excellent for the price I paid. My wife thought such a big set would look ridiculous (we also had to purchase a stand big enough to accomodate it). And, yes, it is big. However, once she watched a Lady Longhorns basketball game on it, she grudgingly admitted that the TV was pretty cool. The Sony is a great value for this price point.

    Playstation 4 Pro HDR?

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I did some research on this tv prior to purchasing it. I even went to Sony's official website and it indicates that this is a 4K HDR tv. On Sony's official website, it states that this is compatible with PS 4 Pro. However, I cannot seem to set this tv up in order to utilize the 4K HDR on the PS 4 Pro. Perhaps I am doing something wrong? Any suggestions? I like the tv so far, but not being able to play video games as 4K HDR would be a deal breaker.

    Best TV for the Price

Picture is excellent. Sports and Movies are pretty good to watch on this TV, not too much blurring during fast actions. Sound is way better than most TV this size. Only thing that did not please me is the angle of viewing. Once you reach close to 150 degrees lateral, the picture is not that vivid, but is still better than most large TV at this price range. Purchased TV almost 1 month ago. I will follow up if I find any issues. Overall, the best TV and picture for the price!

Absolutely fantastic video quality for the first year of ownership. Quality has degraded drastically since then, it’s not as vivid as it used to be. The picture quality is poor and much darker even on the highest brightness setting. I’m very disappointed in Sony. There are dark spots on the screen. Sony had always produced quality devices over the years. A cheap TCL tv I purchased around the same time for half the price is still as good as new way better than this.

Since my youngest son destroyed our plasma TV, I researched all kinds of TVs and compared ratings, capabilities, and price. I ended up focusing on Sony based on them being able to do DLNA, and known for better quality than some competitors. This TV was in my budget, but I was still nervous about some of the reviews I read. I read a lot about this TV not being bright enough. It's plenty bright for me, esp in a dark room. I like the simpler smart features because I have other options for streaming content. It does DLNA easily. The remote is also a perfect rectangular solid, which I found oddly comforting. So far, I'm very pleased with this TV and glad I realized I was worrying about technology I don't have yet and don't plan to get in the next few years. This TV does great for what I want it to do.
