    RETURNED TWO OF THEM!

    First return was 12 hours into it, the TV speaker kept making a loud "khhhhh" sound when i changed the channel or started/stopped my DVR. I got a second one and it was 6 days into it and the TV stopped recognizing my inputs. The banner would appear at the top and after 15 or so minutes, a message would come up saying, "no source detected" and would turn off. I switched to other inputs, including the antenna and same thing. Returned it and got a Samsung. Very disappointed.

    Do not buy this!!!

    I bought this TV one and a half years ago thinking it was a good investment due to its positive review. Two weeks after buying it, it made this loud "Khhhhh" sound! I called Sony and they said to just factory reset it. I should have returned the minute it made that "Khhhh" sound, however, I gave it another chance. Five months later, it again made the same sound!! It continued making that sound, again and again, the following months. I followed the same step they told me to do the first time since it was too late to return it! Now a year and a half later, the TV just magically stops working. Every time I turn on the tv, six blinking red light appears! I called Sony and they said they can't do anything! I called bestbuy and they said they can't do anything since the warranty period is over! To anyone trying to purchase this TV stay away!! Do not buy this TV if you think this TV will last a long time!!

    Okay TV but don't buy the geek squad

    Love the picture, but I'm having issues with the APPs not responding or hanging up. Geek Squad has been worthless. They don't know their stuff and they just want to send someone out to your house at $99 a pop to solve the issue.

    Horrible experience

    Got this in 2017 picture quality is not that good, night scene on this tv is really dark if you turn up the backlight or brightness the picture would look really awkward.. fast forward 2019 shortly after warranty expired the LED backlight stop working i bought this LED tool from amazon where i have to open the back tv every time just to hook up power on the LED backlights. Now i have a useless giant tv on my living room i will have to move it at my backyard for storage. My samsung LED tv is now almost 10 years and its just as good as when i first bought it. Please give me a good reason to buy another sony tv..

    Overated Geek squad & product

    Purchased this TV for family coming in for the Thanksgiving holiday, had our TV delivered on time 11-20-18 @ 2 pm good job. I went through the process of setting up the TV and when it comes on only 3/4 screen is showing, I try to trouble shoot to see if i can adjust the screen setting, no luck. the kicker is i call the geek squad and got bounced around to 4 reps that kept kicking the can to the other rep for an hour and half, the last rep I talked to was Fred he was worst person I've encountered as a on line pro, suggested i call an outside service and he knew nothing about the Sony product. now i have to wait another 4 days to resolve. not a good way to do business!!

    Everything is decent for what you pay for but the casting. It’s a hassle to get it to cast YouTube or anything else. Look up casting problems with this specific tv. Have to reset the tv every other day to get it to cast

    Poor quality with a blue tinted display.

    Initially the TV was good, with a clear picture. Over time, it started turning blue shade. Changing multiple settings and restoring to defaults did not work. Apparently Sony TVs are known to eventually turn either a shade of red or blue. Either way, it became unwatchable and darker scenes are difficult to see. I will no longer purchase Sony TVs.

    This is my first and last Sony. No third-party apps other than what is preinstalled. Screencast from my note 9 is choppy. I should have gone with a different brand.

    Do not buy this large piece of JUNK!! The sound is a joke. It disconnects from the sound system every chance it gets and the Sony idiots don’t know what to do to fix it. t is without a doubt the worse tv on the market, will be buying anything else.

    This is a horrible tv, it wouldn't connect to the server for me to update the software. The TV would never work due to this problem. Worst sony tv ever.
