This music system was good purchase given the fact that I bought this as an open box item and never had any issue.

Ok firstly I would say I am totally happy with this purchase after using it for 6 months now because of sound quality, wireless streaming songs (Bluetooth) and looks of this sound system. Bass is amazing (don't expect wall shattering) for my average size living room, 700 Watts specs totally justified in this price range. I would definitely recommend to others.

I plugged it in and it did not work. I was so sad to return it.

I've have the model before this for over a year without a problem and this model for over 6 months without a problem either. The bookshelf speakers on these babies are better than some of the higher end stuff! The sub is underpowered and you don't hear it until around 20 out of 50, but when you hear it, it's not too bad. If you want more bass you can get 2 of these like I did, I actually hooked up a extra sub to the system through a separate receiver via aux cable and I couldn't be more satisfied. The tweeters aren't over powering but they sound just right, the woofers handle their range with precision and little to no distortion, and the subwoofer performs well all the way down to about 40 or 45 Hz then it cuts off sharply, if you're on a budget you can buy a cheap receiver and a relatively cheap subwoofer and hook it up together but you'll be run a lot of wires so make sure you think it through before you do that.

I was looking for a speaker system to be used in a small dorm room in a fraternity house and after extensive researching on many different systems I chose this one because of its super clean look, higher power, and larger subwoofer. Initially, I was very happy. The system was very easy and simple to be set up, although the short wires made it difficult to be set up the way I wanted. The system sounded great and I was impressed with how loud the system could be played and still sounded clean. One downside is that you can't customize the EQ. I got the clean look and higher power I was looking for, but the larger subwoofer was a complete bust. The subwoofer is a complete waste of money. Plugging it in makes little to no difference to the bass output of the system and the only way I can tell it works is that it pushes air slightly out of its ports. I was hoping for a larger bass sound and what I got was an 8-inch passive subwoofer that outputs less bass than an iHome. I don't know if its under-powered or if it is because of another issue, but bottom line... the subwoofer is just a box, nothing else. I've had the system for four months and out of nowhere, the output on the receiver for the right speaker stopped working. Both speakers work fine still so its just the output on the receiver. So what started off as a great speaker system has turned into a receiver and one speaker. Bottom line: This system is great if you want to set it up all in one spot, don't care about the EQ, don't want any bass, and bought a warranty. If you want any of those things, DONT BUY THESE SPEAKERS.

I am so pleased that I bought this stereo for myself. Great sound, and a really nice size for an apartment dweller. (I'm thinking almost too loud for my neighbors!)

It is not working after 6 months. Goes to auto standby mode within few seconds. Could not reset to normal mode. Try all the possibilities. It is not working.

I bought this unit in a hurry, as I was throwing a party in a building away from my house, and didn't want to move my home stereo. I chose this particular model for its Bluetooth connectivity; so that we could listen to Pandora via my iPhone. I had it unpacked and playing music in less than five minutes, but spent the next 30 mins fretting about the muddy sound it produced. The unit's EQ presets (jazz, rock, R & B, etc.) did make a difference, but didn't give me the ability to get rid of what sounded like too much mid-range. The unit had sufficient bass in normal mode - using the extra bass setting made it way too muddy (excuse the term, I'm not an audiophile and don't know a better description). I was asking a bit much of a $200 stereo, but I imagine that better sound can be had for the same price, had I sufficient time to review and demo other models. I will say that it performed the same even at maximum volume - little distortion if any was produced. For what it's worth, most everyone at the party thought it sounded "ok." No one thought it sounded great, but they all appreciated the ability to listen to streaming audio.

I purchased this item and it has an amazing sound. I hooked my turntable up to this stereo through the AUX in port. The sound is full and great bass!

Got these for my college dorm and you can hear it 5 floors up. THEY ARE LOUD AND THE BASS IS INSANE. Get this

I bought this stereo for myself for x-mas & I couldn't be more pleased with it. Everything about it is great. The sound quality and the functions it has is superb. I would tell anyone looking for a fantastic stereo to buy this one.
