this really is much more than I was expecting for the price. no gripes except I always have design suggestions, like maybe the option of being able to set the speakers together as a single unit, making it a bit easier to move it around. yeah, it is basically designed for stationary placement.

I bought this as I needed some speakers for outdoor movies. It worked pretty well. The speakers were nice and clear. The only real drawbacks were that the wires between the speakers weren't very long and it was a hassle moving around all the components. I realize that this is not the intended use case, so if I had this for a shelf sound system, it would probably worked out better for me. I needed something that day and this was open box process so I went with it.

We bought this as an upgrade from our son's last Sony. This may look large but fits perfectly on top of his dresser, with the sub on the floor. It's very loud, and doesn't distort when he adds bass. He loves it.

This product is of very good quality. Sony has been in this business a long time and they really have produced a very good boombox. It took some time to figure out how I could set the alarm so the CD could wake me uo. Clear instructions on set-up.

The sound is incredible for the price. I use it with my IPod in my music room to play along with on my keyboards. Well worth the money.

Good sound. Good bass boost. Wish the speaker wires were longer so I could have speakers further apart.

Most every thing has to be controlled by the remote which is inconvenient at times. No extra hook-ups for external devices. (DVD and such)

Good speakers only down fall is their is no bass boost only different EQ setting. In my opinion the R and B setting has the best bass.

Needed a stereo to play music during a wedding reception. This sound system filled the whole room.

My old PANASONIC was broken becuase the laser who read the CD doesn´t work anymore. With this new SONY I have made a good purchase.

It works great. Haven't had any problems even with the apple compatibility it works just fine with my iPad and my touch. Would definitely recommend this to somebody who is looking for audio under $200!!!

The stereo system is everything I wanted. I still have to sit with it and learn how to reduce the bass sound and have the radio stop at every station. It will take some time for me to do this.

Nice stereo sound system. The only thing I don't like is that you can't add extra speakers.

This stereo its been working well I got it on sale and very nice looking the BT works good I font know if the sound its what it said on the box but sure its loud and meets my expectations

I was looking for something that would accomodae my Ipod a CD AND REGULAR RADIO. This fit the bill to a tee with great bass sound.
