I love this set. The picture is unreal, 4k Blu-ray player is unbelievable. The features are great, easy set up. I did have the geek squad hang and set it up and they were super, great guys.

Overall a solid TV - but now that it's a few years old it's starting show it's age compared to newer OLED technology. Some motion blur in faster scenes and light blooming to note. Android operations system is pretty awful - worst part of the TV

I was close to buying a Samsung which seems to be the go-to TV lately for picture enthusiasts. After viewing many sets at the store I personally think the Samsungs are almost too bright and don't look realistic, they also focused way too much on Curved, in 2016 your only choice for a flagship model was a curved design, yuck! This Sony 940D is one of the best pictures I have ever seen, after calibrated. The factory settings were terrible and I almost thought I had made a mistake after purchasing, this is the only reason for 4 stars out of 5. After taking a couple hours with each setting I am very pleased with the outcome. 4K HDR Blu-Ray on this set is almost unbeatable unless you go OLED or pay $30K for a set. The 940D colors are vibrant and Realistic, like looking out a window. The Blacks are jaw dropping thanks to the Direct LED blacklight, one of the only direct LED sets in this class. I highly recommend picking one up at this 2016 clearance price.

The picture is great and the Sony sound bar is a must addition, great sound with the giant sub woofer. If you have no issue with spending 6,300 on a TV and sound system this is the way to go.

I was a little unsure if to purchase this tv or not. After a few visits to the store I finally walked out with one. Best thing I did. Picture quality is amazing compared to my other tvs!

Went in planning on buying an OLED and the customer service person recommended taking a look at the Sony. I was reluctant but I am glad I did. I love the picture quality. It is very vibrant.

Outstanding TV with perfect picture quality . Make sure you get the Sony wall mount made for this TV , it's fairly inexpensive and mounts the TV right against the wall like a picture hangs .

Clean and modern design. Very easy to setup and picture is bright and clear. Black areas are very dark for great contrast. Sharp detail, almost like looking through a window on a bright day.

The Sony XBR75X850D is an excellent UHDTV. The picture is clear and the colors are vivid. I had the Best Buy Geek Squad to mount on the wall and helped me avoid any installation damage

Excellent TV for my needs. I am not a TV expert, but wanted a high quality TV that I would enjoy movies and sports on for several years. I debated for months between the Sony I purchased and a Samsung KS75 9000. I am glad I researched and took the advise of over 8 different Best Buy employees that I discussed my purchase with at all different BB stores. The picture is wonderful and football games are great viewing on this 75" inch baby !!!! I must give a big thanks to a Canton Best Buy employee Zachary Dobson for his excellent advice and exemplary customer service. If you are near the Canton store and need some advice/assistance I highly recommend Zachary !!!!

We have a collection of 3D movies and this is one of the last 3D Tv's made so finding the demo as an open box deal was a match made only in Best Buy. Fantastic picture and features.

This tv is great for watching sports, a pricey tv for sure, I think toward the end of the year you can get better pricing as the newer models come out, but this has a sharp picture

TV is fantastic. Wonderful picture. Comments from guests in my home also. Sporting events are like being there, maybe even better, since you get a view closer to the playing field.

I've owned many TVs from 55" to 75". This TV by far is the best TV I've ever bought. The picture is near perfect out of the box. 4K up scaling blows my other 4K TV out of the water. The blacks produced by this full array are amazingly black. Blooming is almost invisible. All this in a TV that is about 1.5" thick. You won't be disappointed.

We bought the TV two months ago. Best Buy delivered the TV and set it up for us. Everything work perfectly. Picture quality is great and we enjoy watching movie on this big screen TV.

I chose Sony for it's quality and reliability. Just love my 75' 4K screen, sound bar, dvd player and the entertainment center that rolls easily to access the rear of the TV and cables

If your indecisive between LG's OLED and the Sony's 940D, the 940D would be an excellent choice for what your getting. 75" of 4K HDR Quality with amazing upscaling. The black levels come close enough to LG OLED in which you would never notice a difference. What this TV does better than LG is brightness and colors. The OLED with its inky blacks will never get as bright as a traditional LED. You will be missing a lot of detail when it comes to dark scenes. Overall the TV has an excellent picture with color, clarity, and contrast. Smart functionality is the best I have ever used with a TV. You would definitely be satisfied with this purchase.

This is by far the best 4K I've owned which included 2 curved sets and the first Sony unit produced, the Android capability is great and 4K ultra movies are unreal on this set, definitely money well spent!

I've had this TV for 3 months. I love it. All of my neighbors are envious and one of them even bought the same model. I love this TV and look forward to having it for many years.
