1- Please make sure your TV software is fully up to date, as updates often include picture and performance improvements. You can check for an available by going to settings > system > about > software update > update your TV software.
2- It's also a good idea to compare the image across different sources to see if the issue is isolated to one of them. Try different streaming apps directly on the TV and also test any external devices you may be using.

Awful

Sometimes takes about 5 to 10 minutes to get it to go back on. Wish I never purchased this Sony! Would never buy again.

Don't buy a large TV from Best Buy!!

Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The first TV delivered had operational issues, and there was a significant mix-up with the service teams. Instead of the installation team, a delivery team was dispatched who left the TV uninstalled in the middle of my living room. After contacting Best Buy, their solution was to send another delivery team, but only a week later. Due to these complications and the lack of prompt, professional service, I have decided to return the TV and opt for a more reliable retailer. Based on my experience, I advise potential customers to be cautious when considering large TV purchases from Best Buy.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We are sorry but the Xfinity Stream app is currently not available to install on the X90L TV at the moment. However, you can use the built-in Chromecast feature to cast the content from the Xfinity Stream app on your mobile device to the TV. Also, these TVs are equipped with HDMI connectivity which allows you to connect smart media devices such as Xfinity box directly to the TV. Small Icons - Sound Variations

Only had it a few months and every couple of hours the screen freezes and I can’t do anything. Therefore I have to unplug it multiple times a day to get it to work.

We understand that screen freezing issues can be quite frustrating, and we are here to help you resolve this matter. 1. Restart / Soft Reset - Using the supplied remote control, press and hold the POWER button for at least 5 seconds or until a Power off message appears. The TV should restart automatically. Wait for approximately one minute, and the TV will turn back on. If it does not restart, press the POWER button on the remote control to turn on the TV.
2. Power Reset: Unplug the TV from the power outlet, wait for about 2 minutes, and then plug it back in. Turn on the TV and check if the issue persists.

Awesome tv for the money!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the 75 inch Sony X90L and coming from a TCL 6 series and a Hisense u8h that both went bad after a little over a year. I finally had enough with these budget TV's and bought the Sony. I set it up turned it on and all I can say is WOW!! For the price the picture and colors on this TV cannot be beat. Could have went with an OLED but after reading about possible burn in issues leaving the TV on I went with this model because of all the great reviews. We stream everything especially Youtube TV and with my past TV's the image was grainy looking on many channels. The Sony brand is known for its color and processing lowbit rate programs right out of the box. I went to old programs like Friends and Seinfeld to see if the picture was any better and it blew me away with the clarity and beautiful colors. Yeah, I am sure the OLED tv's have a better picture but looking at this TV it can't be thousands better. Went on Youtube and looked at some 4k videos and again was absolutely blown away by the picture and the fact there was no judder or delays while panning. I did Google the rtings calibration settings for this tv and they were spot on. Now for sports...We watch a lot of football and this thing is absolutely amazing watching the games. The colors and motion handling blew my Hisense tv's and TCL tv's out of the water. I know I am hyping this TV quite a bit but I have learned from reading and watching reviews and on hand experience that a brand like Sony...Samsung or LG is the way to go when purchasing a tv for quality and reliability. Don't be put off by this TV being LCD full array backlighting because in my opinion its equal to the mini led tv's that are priced higher and the picture is no better. Last thing I will say is get an extended warranty. I didn't get an extended warranty on my TCL and when it went black screen a little after a year TCL told me since it was out of warranty I was out of luck. Really stand behind their tv's!!! Watch the review on Digital Trends about this tv on Youtube and many others and you will easily make the choice for this one! I would recommend this to a friend

Just Awesome
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is the best tv I own. Just purchased a Samsung 65” 90c Oled and this Sony is superior in every way. I also have a Vizio Quantum P 65”. I’ve had this tv over a year now and it is my first Sony product. The color rendering is unmatched, the processor is lightening fast, the remote is simple but effective. Movies, games, online content, sports, whatever it’s all awesome. So many displays can not get the color of grass right while watching sports. It’s often some weird color of green, too neon or too bright green, feels like you are in the stadium with this Sony. Wishing I had purchased another one instead of the Samsung. Sound is good by itself but I’m running it through home theater. I don’t even know how many tv’s I’ve returned to BB over the years because I’m so picky, this one was instant satisfaction which is good because this thing is huge and heavy, would have been a massive pain to return.

Great TV with amazing picture

The controller could be a bit better on its layout of buttons but not a issue and video games look so real on the TV, I definitely recommend this TV compared to Samsung.

Super Sony

Everything about the picture is favorable except I wish that the gamma controls went a little further so we could see more detail in the rich black areas or nighttime scenes. I have it set on 3 but I wish there was a 5. Aside from that it’s awesome.
