Bought for bright room, retuned for bad BLOOM

My prior OLED TV had an amazing picture, but was a little dimmer than I liked in Dolby Vision and it suffered from burn-in. All I can say is don’t go from OLED to this TV. This mini-LED performs no differently than traditional LED to my eyes, which means noticeable blooming with bright objects on a black screen, and a general haziness in grey scenes. I tweaked the X95k's settings, and couldn’t eliminate these problems. I could see being satisfied with this TV, if one isn’t used to perfect blacks. I returned it and exchanged for a new OLED, with a five year warranty in case burn-in is still a problem. I hope it’s brighter than my old OLED, but will tolerate it regardless. Thank you Best Buy for making the exchange easy.

Thank you for your review. We are truly sorry if our XR-75X95K didn't live up to your expectations, and that it had to be returned. This is definitely not the experience we wanted you to have with our premium TV. Picture quality usually depends on the on the signal and content. For picture or glare issues, some of these problems can be fixed by adjusting various settings related to the TV display and changing the light sensor settings that optimizes brightness according to ambient light.

And for best picture quality, we do not recommend exposing the screen to direct illumination or sunlight.
