Witness the evolution of TV technology on a precisely controlled Mini LED display, powered by the intelligent Cognitive Processor XR. Driven by XR Backlight Master Drive, thousands of tiny, high-density Mini LEDs in precisely controlled zones create unprecedented dynamic range that makes your content burst to life with deep blacks, natural colors, and phenomenal brightness.
A: The Sony guy didn't answer your question. The resolution, as you stated, is the same (number of 'pixels'), however the Mini LED feature gives the pixels more 'flexibility' in light emission to give brighter colors and deeper blacks which may appear to be higher resolution (i.e. sharper images). This makes the mini LED much closer to OLED in performance (without the risk of 'burn in'). Each system has its pros and cons and boils down to personal preference and price point (my opinion here).
Q: When will these be available to buy
A: I had the business card of a Magnolia design guy and gave him a call. He told me they were in the warehouse. I asked if I could place the order directly with him and he said yes. Should be delivered by Saturday. (Don’t know if being an Elite Plus member for the past 8 years had anything to do with his answer.) as always YMMV
A: Hi there, Thank you very much for your inquiry. You can't go wrong whether you choose the A80K or the X95K as both TVs offer an outstanding off-angle color and brightness. For the A80K, this TV features the latest OLED panel technology that allows for better energy efficiency as well as a brighter picture. Also, the latest version of the Cognitive Processor XR features an improved depth algorithm for a more 3-dimensional life-like image. As well as a new color algorithm for an even more accurate picture. As for the X95K, this TV features our latest generation Mini LED backlight for an exceptional brightness. You will enjoy an unprecedented dynamic range with incredibly dazzling lights and deep blacks, as well as beautifully natural mid tones, with almost no flare or halos around highlights. I hope this helps you decided and thanks again for your question! Best regards, Romeo
Q: Is burn in an issue with this Sony TV? Thanks! ♐
A: Hi AladdinSane, Thank you for your question! No, image retention/burn-in is not an issue and will not likely to happen with this TV as it uses LCD display panel with a direct (Full Array Mini LED) backlighting. Experience the ultimate in brightness and contrast with the BRAVIA XR X95K Mini LED TV. XR Backlight Master Drive controls thousands of tiny, high-density Mini LEDs with absolute precision to deliver lifelike 4K HDR picture. Plus, with X-Wide Angle and X-Anti Reflection, off-angle color and brightness are preserved with less glare. I hope this helps! Best regards, Romeo
A: Assuming you have successfully connected to your internet, one option is to use the microphone button on your remote. Push, hold, and talk into the microphone to instruct the TV to "find the Spectrum streaming app". This is how we located a couple of apps/programs. Hope this helps.
A: Hi BS643, Thank you for reaching out to us with your concern. For rewind or fast forward, if you are inside an app/streaming app of the TV, rewind and fast forward can be controlled by either pressing the left or right directional buttons and pause/play using the center button of the remote. Please note that we cannot guarantee if these buttons will also work if you're watching from another source/input device. Some sources/input devices will have a built-in fast forward or rewind option. Experience the ultimate in brightness and contrast with the BRAVIA XR X95K Mini LED TV. Plus, with X-Wide Angle and X-Anti Reflection, off-angle color and brightness are preserved with less glare. I hope this helps! - Romeo
