Never had any issues with it until my fiance threw an empty water bottle and the cap hit the corner of the screen. LCD screen shattered and the rest of the screen went black. obviously isn't covered with warranty so that sucks but yes its a good tv.

Scored this on open box close out. Love it so far!

This is an expensive TV and after minimal use in a newly finished basement, the motherboard has already failed. Shame on me for not purchasing the $500 warranty on a $3,000 TV. The kicker, there is not even a Sony repairman anywhere near my home in Brighton, CO. I was told by Sony to take it to Colorado Springs...yeah right, I am going to load up my 75 inch big screen and drive it 1.5 hrs to repair a manufacture defect for $1500. No thank you! I should have listened to my brother-in-law who's in the AV industry. Do not buy this TV, or if you do...pony up and spend an additional $500 on the extended warranty because you're going to need it!

This is the Best TV I've ever bought. The Video is great. We have this in a family room with an L- shaped viewing of the TV. There are several angular views. All color and lighting is great from all the angles at 6- 12 feet. The 6 foot view is roughly 45 degrees.

Purchased this model after watching 850 and 900 series side by side for about 30 minutes. Decided on the 850 75" because it was $1200 cheaper than the 65" 900 series. It's smart features and the way it auto syncs with other smart streaming devices is great.

I have done a lot of research before buying. I have no problem with the black clouding ( do not have this problem ) I see a lot of reviews about. This is the main reason I was considering another brand, I am very glad I gave it a chance, great picture.

Had LG OLED that ended up with burn in on screen. After two months of arguing with LG. Was paid back. So got a Sony this time as I have had them in past with no issues. Easy set up. Picture not as clear as OLED but should not have issues with burn in on this one. So overall happy with TV.

Unexplained popping noises. Was kinda easy to get up since they set the box in my living room and signed the paper and have a good day. Me and wife set it up, 75 inches eat the room up. Up and running, connected to internet and was no software updates at all. Anyway, started hearing slight popping noises when turning on, changing channels. So on the phone i go. reset and started over while on the phone. End result, still the popping noises. Went to Best Buy and exchanged for a Q7 Samsung, no issues at all. The geek squad brought it and set it up this time, took the Sony back. Am happy, great pic and no noises.

Upgraded from Sharp 70". Far superior in every aspect. Easy setup although I recommend tweeking options in settings menu to your taste. Syncs well with Sony receiver, and works with Alexa. Also have 55" Bravia, which is excellent also.

This model has component RCA video connections which allows me to connect my old Carousel DVD player. The Google audio commands in the remote is also a nice feature. Can't wait to explore some of the other smart TV features!

This thing has given us fits from day 1. Now, 4 years later it won't even power up. Paid a lot for this junk!

TV is only five months old and doesn't software update automatically even though the agreement was signed and the option turned on. Best Buy Total Tech Protection was absolutely no help. They wanted $100 to come fix it or told me to contact Sony. Did everything Sony said to do and it still doesn't work. Loved my Apple TV for 10 years and this Android TV is a nightmare. Nothing about it is working properly. It has a nice picture though. If Best Buy would have better support, my attitude about my purchases could be better, but I couldn't be more disappointed.

So far we have been pleased with the quality of this 75" TV. We purchased the warranty as well due to a problem we encountered with our prior TV from a different mfg.

bought this upon thoroughly questioning a geek, everything I was wanting and hoping for, I would recommend it to anyone with room for it. I used the universal mount that extends and swivels, very nice.
