This 75 inch Sony TV is crazy big, it's graphics are really nice and crisp. Regular tv signals do not do it justice for how awesome the picture looks with high definition signals. I bought it to replace a Samsung ( it was 55 inch) and I always went back to Bestbuy to see it on display. The only thing is it will not bluetooth to my Samsung Note 8 phone and it may just be the phones problem. When I did the setup it received the password from my phone for Netflix and from the app on the phone you can type what you need for you tube and Netflix without using the tv remote. Screen is huge and looks Awesome.

I had this 75 inch set installed by the Geek Squad 2 days ago replacing a 2 year old 65 inch LG 6EP 3d OLED. One would think that going from a OLED to this is a down grade, but that would be entirely wrong. This set uncalibrated is actually better than my profesionaly calibrated LG. While the blacks aren't completely inky, this Sonys clarity and sharpness exceeds the LG. The picture is awesome in other words. I experienced a lot of burn in from watching normal cable channels a few hours a day so I am very disappointed with the LG, and is the main reason I switched to a LED set. My room is semi dark to full dark lit by incandescent lighting so I can tell you how the black levels are, and like I said previously they aren't the inky blacks but are very close. I am very picky about the picture quality and this set is exceptional at its price range. The sound quality is okay, nothing spectacular mind you and is enjoyable enough, but since I run this back to my Marantz 7011 9.1 system via ARC makes it even better. Having it installed by the Geek Squad was a pleasure. These 2 gentleman were completely professional, kind and curtious and I highly recommend their services. All in all I think this 75". set is a great choice for anyone who wants to upgrade their existing 2 year old sets.

Rig is up on our wall mount and functioning properly. Tested with How to Train Your Dragon, looked very nice. We then put our Avatar Blue Ray disc in and it was really beautiful. Have not tried any 4K sources since I do not have any. We bought this set to run from an HP notebook with hdmi, and we have not tried any streaming video yet. I am dismayed that the optical digital out can not be used as an input for my Yamaha receiver. Apparently you have to have a cable box or similar to utilize it. I had gotten the impression that if you had hdmi input, you could grab an optical signal and run it to your audio system. I'll have to wait until I can build a full fledged HTPC with a Toslink for my digital in. Right now I'm running analog audio to the front of my receiver. Will update review after we try some Amazon streaming.

I was originally going to purchase a Samsung but we Hen the Best Buy sales rep showed me the Sony, I was blown away with the difference in the picture quality.

Excellent television that lasted a good amount of time, but had to replace after around 4 years.

Sony makes great TV's and this is no exception. TV is fast, and the colors are vivid and look great with cable TV. The TV is a bit heavy and a little difficult to mount, but looks fantastic once it is mounted. This TV has wonderful viewing angles. The sound on this TV is equally impressive, but sounds even better when you hook it up to surround sound. Overall this is a great TV and you get what you pay for. Here you're getting a premium TV

I've had the tv for 5-6 weeks now and I'm quite happy. I chose this model after lots of research. The viewing angle is great due to the panel with excellent brightness. There is very low screen reflection compared to others at this price point, a super slim profile, and superior motion to other mid-range sets. I gave up black levels for these features but honestly don't care. The motion for sports and handing of older video is excellent. You will have to spend a lot more for better black levels in 75" with a slim form factor The smart functions are mediocre but just get a streaming box if you have 2k+ for a tv

This TV is the real deal. I really can’t find anything bad to say. LCD has come a long way and this Sony TV is the best I’ve seen. Highly recommended

As owner of 5 Samsung HD televisions in past, I decided to try the Sony after comparing to the same series (8) Samsung. Paired it to the Sonos Beam (with Alexa) and have to say....this is the best tv and sound system I’ve owned. I have 2 Play 5 Sonos speakers linked to the Beam.

Sony is known for its durability. I am writing this reviews after 3 years which is working very good with no issues. Sound is pretty good.

I should've read some more reviews on this before purchasing. The picture quality for the TV is fantastic, all the features are great as well. The issue is with trying to watch anything that has a dark picture. Basically the only way around it is to turn the brightness all the way down and watch it in a bright room. But turning down the brightness kills the great picture for the non black colors. Or if you watch it in a dark room. Tried watching Gravity at night, it was basically unwatchable. The bottom right corner just has a cloudy grey look, same with the top left corner. It's all you can see and overall about 20% of the screen is this grey cloud. I've had the TV for 4 days, it seems to only be getting worse. I will be returning this and staying away from Sony

First off the TV is huge! But in a good way. Picture is outstanding and standard definition tv is great but 4K content is amazing!!

I’ve had this tv for a year now. Good screen resolutions. Easy to setup and use. Decent remote control. The apps on this tv crashes a lot like can’t connect to app service but it will for other apps. You have to a hard reboot to fix it. Xfinity is not an option for this tv in apps. Overall it’s a good tv with apps issues and can’t use xfinity to sign in to apps. It seems to have almost every cable provider upset xfinity so make sure to do some research before

The tv quality is better then the Samsung75 inch tv i got

I went into my local Best Buy after doing my research to purchase the new Samsung QLED Q6 75 inch. After speaking with many employees they talked me into this Sony 75 inch due to the processor being better. I purchased the Sony but still had that feeling I wanted the Samsung. The first week the tv was nice but the setting screen and apps just seemed older and slow. After a week all the blacks on the right side of the screen went cloudy and the tv was unwatchable with dark scenes. I went with my gut and replaced it with the 2018 QLED and man is the Samsung better. The picture is better, the apps and setting are much more updated and faster. Maybe I got a lemon but if your looking for a comparable 75 inch get the QLED. You wont be sorry.

when I 1st purchased this TV it would reboot in the middle of a movie every other month, now it reboots twice a day. The best way I can explain is when your phone suddenly has to reboot and there is no way of stopping this. A separate issue that began a year after I bought it was the sound not working. There is no sound from the tv and nothing seems to help the issue. We just power it off and leave it for about a day. I had to move this TV from my living room to my bedroom because of these issues.
