I've looked at all the TVs in store at Best Buy before buying this one, and I must say in terms of color accuracy, contrast, and picture quality, only one stood out as 'better' than this one, and it was the LG 77" OLED, but that was like $7000. For half the price, this is probably the best TV in the 75" class. Everything is so vibrant, and the picture is stunning.

I recently had to return my Samsung 4K UHD 8000 series TV due to panel/screen issues. There wasnt a service technician in my area, so Samsung allowed me to return it for full store credit. I initially was going to get another samsung but under recommendation of one of the best buy salesman, I purchased the Sony xbr900f. This TV is head and shoulders better than the Samsung. Picture, function, color, clarity... just all around sensational TV compared to my last TV. Highly recommended and HUGE thank you to the salesman who recommended it to me!

We weren’t sure what to expect with all the hype around OLEDs when purchasing this tv. We weren’t ready to spend OLED money, but wanted something nice to put in our basement and our amazing consultant recommended this one. We haven’t been disappointed yet. The picture quality is stellar and we’re able to see from different angles without losing quality. The remote is a little large and outdated, but definitely not a dealbreaker. If you want something nice but inexpensive compared to the top of the line TVs, I recommend this one!

I did the research, read all the reviews and walked into the store to make my purchase. Once there, all the sets look great. My sales rep did a great job explaining all the brands to me and I made my choice on the x900f 75". I am so glad that I did. This is a beautiful set with a great picture. I had to tweak the settings once it was set up in my home bt again, after watching numerous YoutTube videos, you learn more about hoe the set operates. The out of the box settings are not bad but the tweaks just made it so much better. The colors and brightness are exactly what I was hoping for and the set did not disappoint.

I have had this TV for 2 weeks. I did a lot of research to find a somewhat affordable 75 inch TV. I focused on Sony and Samsung. I have purchased both. I leaned towards Sony since I have had good luck in the past and my Blu-ray player and sound bar are both Sony. So far, I have been very happy. No complaints. In fact, I think the sound bar sounds better with this new TV. The picture is awesome and functionality works very well. Setup was very easy. I can't wait for football season!

I had been researching TV's for months. It came down to this Sony 75" 900f or the Samsung Qled8 75". In store and in reviews both have excellent pictures and reviews. It came down to price as I couldn't justify paying $500 more for the Qled . If they were priced the same I might have gone for the Qled as I liked the better anti reflective screen and the ambient mode the Qled offered. But, not worth $500. Very happy with the Sony excellent picture quality and user friendly. The TV is very bright and once you tweek the settings the color is very vivid just like the Qled. .

I had a 55” Sony for 10 years no problem. I hope to get the same use out of this. I upgraded so I could stream content. The bigger size fills our living room better. I purchased it on Black Friday prices and used the savings to pay for delivery and install/mounting. It was worth it. If you’re debating this tv over a different budget brand, get this. Especially if you already like Sony.

Make sure you have enough space not to be on top of the screen. If you are too close it will be a blur. The colors are vibrant. Also, make sure to buy a bracket that can place the screen right up against the wall. This look is much better than having it jet out. You may have to adjust the color at first. When we first turned it on it was too dark, but with a few adjustments the picture is perfect. Love our new Sony 75" TV!

I looked at at every tv at Best Buy, read reviews all over the internet on every tv out. Im willing to bet I would have been happy with a lesser value at a lower price tv but I wasn’t in the mood to deal with warranty company’s and returns or any of that. Simply cant go wrong with a Sony. I got 15 days to return it and the only reason I may go thru the hassle is for the mere fact I think a 75 inch would fit in the space better.

First I would like to thank David at the Myrtle Beach store for his knowledge, patience and love for what he does. We have been Samsung loyalists for over 20 years and had every intention to buy another. Until we were introduced to this Sony model. Wow!! The colors are so true and natural, not overly saturated like some models. You will not be disappointed with this TV.

Wonderful picture clarity and colors are very vibrant. Recommend a 4k dvd player as it really shows what this tv can do and don't skimp on cheap hdmi cables as they do make a difference with keeping the picture from sticking. The backlit picture is extremely clear and very well defined. The remote could be a little easier to use when typing in a search command.

My Sony - 75" Class - LED - X900F Series exceeded my expectations in picture quality, colors, and overall performance. I was deciding between a comparable Samsung model or Sony, and after reading the reviews on this Sony plus checking the ratings of both televisions in Consumer Reports, decided on the Sony. Glad I did as I am very impressed with this set

Just before buying this Sony I had purchased a 75" Samsung Q6. It had beautiful color but I quickly saw that the processor couldn't keep up with even relatively slow movements on-screen. For instance, while playing a movie, when an actor would turn his/her head quickly to the side, there would be pixilation or ghosting or whatever you want to call it. When watching a football game, the ball would completely disappear from the screen during a kickoff. Then the processor started doing some other goofy things such as moving the on-screen menu to a different quadrant of the screen. Given that if electronics are going to have problems, they usually reveal themselves within the first 30 days, I quickly began to lose confidence that the Q6 was going to survive long. Back it went to Best Buy. I replaced it with this Sony 75" X900F which was considerably more expensive, but I think it's worth it since we don't buy TVs often...we've been very pleased with its performance so far. We pull our TV signals from an antenna and, like the Samsung, it seems to have trouble pulling in the lower end of the channel range (below channel 15) so I need to boost the signal with a pre-amp. I don't know if this is a fault of the larger-TV processors/tuners needing more signal strength to power such a large screen, or what the issue may be (our older 50" and 36" Sonys pull in every channel quite easily). We mostly use this TV to watch streaming movies and shows, so the tuner strength is not all that critical for us, but still necessitates dinging the rating by one star.

Waited for a month to write this review. I did the install myself and it was easy. Definitely need two people to move it. Love the picture and quality. I am using a sound bar with it and have no issues. Bought at the Super Bowl price reduction and got a great deal for the TV. It is a 2018 model, but I did a lot of research before buying and I am REALLY happy with my purchase and would recommend.

Throw something on in 4K and wow this tv really shines. My day to day cable tv is upscaled and it’s obvious. The menu is a little clunky as I’m used to Samsung TVs. This price point, size and quality is a no brainer if you want a bigger tv. Had a 65 curved and upgrade and I don’t regret it.

Easy setup, great detail in picture when watching movies, Netflix. I have not adjusted to different viewing modes. Only issue I have not figured out is I have a Bose surround system and when switching to Netflix viewing, sound does not come through surround sound system, sounds comes from TV speakers. Troubleshooting still going on about this issue, other than that great TV!

The picture is really good. I watched both Dolby vision and HDR10 content on Netflix and Amazon prime and everything looked much better than on my old TV. Regular 1080p content looks great too. I’m using the recommended settings from rtings.com. The built in apps/interface are laggy. YouTube is the worst. It doesn’t really bother me though, and if it does in the future I can use my fire stick or Roku. One common complaint about this TV is that Dolby vision content from an external device is too dark. I don’t see any difference when watching Daredevil with the built-in app vs. the fire stick 4K app. This could be important, depending on what other devices you have, because the TV only has two HDMI inputs (2 & 3) that can do 4K HDR @ 60Hz. Netflix on my Roku ultra, when it’s plugged into port 4, won’t show 4K content. The Roku says the port is only capable of 4K HDR @ 30hz. The TV gets fairly bright and handles reflections decently, but in my living room with tons of west-facing windows, I still need to draw the shades during the afternoon. The Vizio PX Quantum may be a better choice if you want something brighter. Black levels are pretty good, but in a dark room, there is some bloom from bright movie scenes in the black bars, or around white text on a black background. It’s not enough to bother me and I’m going to add some bias lighting to see if that helps. It’s worse off axis. I didn’t get the X950G because that TV has less contrast for increased viewing angle at 75”, but for off axis viewing maybe it would be a good trade off. No dirty screen effect that I can see from using a test pattern on YouTube. Small parts of the corners are darker than the rest of the screen. You can see it when watching something with a light background like the John Oliver show. Not enough to bother me though. Overall I’m very happy with it for the money!

This is my first top-tier television. I find the picture is excellent, it has appropriate connections for a cable box, a Blu-ray/gaming console and an hdmi arc for sound. It functions well with my lg sound system. The IR blaster controls the Xfinity cable and sound system with little effort for the cable and no action needed to immediately control the sound system. I noted when streaming one movie on Vudu that the picture seemed odd and washed out, not so from Blu-ray or other streaming services or other movies on Vudu. In fact that movie plays perfectly now and that issue was when the television was first set up. No other issues ever and the picture and lighting are fine for a room with low to above average brightness. It’s a very large television so if you’re not mounting it make sure you have something that’ll support the base. Frankly, after buying several expensive things and several inexpensive things in my time I can say that I got what I paid for, so I both don’t have the regret of spending money and still missing out on technology I wish I had, and the quality is more than adequate that I don’t feel like I overpaid. In fact the only thing might have done differently was buy it on Black Friday(ish) when it was on sale for $1,199.99. Even the sound is good as televisions go.

I purchased the 75-inch Sony 900F and very happy with the decision. Over the years I've been a purchaser of only Sony TV's. I've owned 3 of their sets without issue. I was initially unsure as to whether the 75-inch set was too large for the great room. The Best Buy sales staff suggested once installed to watch for a couple of weeks to get used to the larger size. It's now become the new norm and a great addition to our home theater. The most noticeable and enjoyable difference has been watching both sports and movies. I bought the set on sale during Super Bowl week when it was on promotion. The sales staff at our local Arrowhead Best Buy was extremely helpful. To make things even better the product went on sale again (after my initial purchase) and with Best Buy's price guarantee I was able to save an additional $200. I also received an additional discount by signing up for a Best Buy credit card. Why someone would purchase a TV set online (Amazon) is beyond me!
