Sony Bravia X900F 4K
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this 75" TV at Best Buy in June 2019 and today the screen went out and the power indicator light started flashing red 6 times. Seems like a $2500 dollar TV should last a little longer than 4 years. It gets a 2 because I liked it when it worked.

TV STOPPED WORKING AFTER 3 YEARS - RUN!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Horrible experience. Three years after buying this TV for nearly $2000, it stopped working. It won't get past the initial setup screen. Hours spent with online help, then hours more with the call center. Sony helpdesk offered the only "help" they could offer at that point was a repair person who lived in Miami FL (we live 5 hours away in Tampa) - - Sony only has 2 (yes two) authorized service reps in the state of Florida. Extreme disappointment in SONY. HORRIBLE performance and service on this almost new TV.

Two lemons and no lemonade
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just over the 2 year mark. This is the second X900F TV in the house to go bad with a 4-Flashing LED error. This error means the backlight LED's have failed and the cost to repair is basically a new TV. Hopefully, they have sorted this on the newer models. If not, that is what the 5 year plan is for. (Numerous complaints available about the four flashing LED's available if you search - This should be a class action at this point. LEDs should last more than two years)

Great tv. But menu is very lag prone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After two years with this tv i still love it. The only drawbacks are the menu lag which is like trying to get a toddler to listen. And chromecast which is a blah interface

Not surprisingly disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried to like the tv but, it did not work for me. I had the tv mounted on a wall in my bedroom. I calibrated it on vibrant mode and cinema pro mode according to some calibrators I have used before on YouTube. After using the tv for almost two weeks, I was just not satisfied with the colors. None of the colors seem to pop out. The only time the colors looked a little good was on Dolby Vision movies on Netflix. Yet, the colors were still bland. The audio on the tv is bad. I didn't need a loud tv in my bedroom but, if I would have had this tv set up in my living room, I don't think it would've lasted two days before I would have returned it. The Google assistant button on the remote did not function. I tried several times to get the voice button to search for things but, it never could stay on. It would just activate and immediately deactivate before I could say something. This feature wasn't a big deal but, I am sure people would expect these functions to work on a tv if it had that option. Thanks to BestBuy's return policy, I was able to return the tv. I have an LG OLED 77G7P. The colors on that tv are impressive. I guess I tried holding this Sony tv to the standards of the more expensive LG tv. I ended up getting the Samsung 75 inch Q8 in exchange for the Sony. You could definitely see the difference in picture on the showroom at BestBuy. We will see how it holds up at home.

Purchased 2019 and dead already
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been a loyal Sony customer and always felt they were synonymous with quality. But to spend such a large amount of money to last 4 years is crazy. I went online and found so many with the same issues. How can they get away with relasing a bugged product?

Sony’s TVs are poor quality, broken after 2 years
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve owned my Sony xbr65x900c for around two years after paying around $2000 for it and I unplugged it the other day and plugged it back in and now it won’t work. After plugging it back in it starts up for a minute but won’t function with any buttons then shuts off and goes into boot loop clicking on and off repeatedly. I was advised by Sony support to try a hard restart which didn’t do anything then to download the latest update to a usb drive and plug it in which I did and the tv said it already has the latest version downloaded. Then they pretty much told me to hire a tv servicer to come and repair whatever the issue is and that I’d have to cover all costs because my warranty was up after one year which according to other posts having similar issues is around $1000. This seems kind of pointless for a tv that will probably need another $1000 in around two more years. I have a Sharp tv that has been working for longer for a fraction of the cost.

Infuriating
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been a Sony customer for over three decades. I have never seen a worse setup experience. First off, HDMI 1 doesn’t support HDR. This fact is not labeled or documented anywhere. So we wasted hours troubleshooting our Apple TV, Sony receiver and several cables. Second, the HDMI 2, 3 and 4 jacks are located in the worse possible position. We have to take this 100-pound TV off the wall mount just to access them with what we humans call “hands.” Third, there is no instruction on how to use ARC via a single HDMI cable and get anything but 2-channel stereo. Is that supported or not? The Settings menu is cryptic. Fourth, if I use my Sony receiver as my input switcher, using its “4K pass through” port from my 4K Apple TV, I cannot get 4K HDR on this TV. So is it really a pass-thru? Or is it molesting the signal? When we pay a premium to have a Sony receiver and a Sony TV, we expect those components to “just work” together out of the box a la Apple products — or at least include instruction manuals that aren’t infuriatingly sparse.

Colors are so off not worth a penny
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worst tv you can purchase! Colors are off as the colors just adjust as they like to get darker every time. Customer service are as if they are ideal after several attempts to fix or return at this point

XBR75X900F I would give it a ZERO if available.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.XBR75X900F the remote is not programmable. Best buy and Sony will not tell you this but i have 5 remotes for a brand new 75 inch and none of them works. Neither Best Buy ir Sony will make the effort to assist $2500.00 and the remote would only work for a month now none of them will.

Great picture but...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nearly two months in, and I have had to clear the cache/uninstall the Netflix app four times in order to watch content. No complaints when everything works but I'm not sure how much I can take before I lose it...

Checked around and saw that it was quite common called Sony and they say you are SOL we don't cover physical damage. i took pics sent and they say we still dont cover it and when i asked for a supervisor i was told there is not one then i asked for the reps info they cant tell you who they are or their employee number so. I will never buy another sony product ever again.
