I’ve spent the last few years drooling over the new OLED technology TVs and waiting for the price to get lower, so an LED TV was never a consideration until this past Christmas season. I’m coming from an 8 year old 58” plasma which has served me very well, but I wanted something a bit bigger. I finally decided that I was going to go for a 75” class TV and the OLED’s in that size were just way too expensive, so that led (pun intended) me to consider an LED TV. I’ve always read that LED TVs have bad viewing at an angle and that’s why I didn’t even consider them, but this Sony has no such problem that I can tell. This beauty has an outstanding picture and I’m not missing my plasma one bit! My plasma actually experienced some burn in from watching cable news too much, and I saw some examples of OLEDs that will do the same over time. That’s what really sold me on the LED over spending more on an OLED. Next stop is microLED, but we have quite the wait for that.

I haven't owned a Sony TV in several years - been partial to Samsung and I must say that I've been missing out! The picture is far superior than Samsung's AI like tech. The picture is much more real and the blacks are incredible. Buy this TV and you will not be dissapointed!

The Sony TV has an amazing picture when the signal is there. Its off axis viewing is not that good and the Brightness could be better at times. Being a 75" TV I will say when sitting in front of it the picture is better than my Samsung although the Samsung is brighter. For the money I wish it would of had an equalizer for sound.

Never been dissappointed with Sony Equipment, but what i was surprised about was the volume that was capable from this unit without any other sound bars etc. - Yes it doesnt have a real deep Bass sound, but apart from that it is very capable unless you want a full cinema sound setup. If your thinking about buying a sound bar etc with this unit, i would say wait, try out the built in sound and see what you think before spending the extra money.
As far as the smart TV goes, its good, its based on the google android platform. I think Sony does update it from time to time but it hasnt been updated on any of my TVs yet. We do occasionally have a particular app hang (spotify or pandora etc) but i personally think that is more the app than the Sony/Android OS.
Great picture as you would expect on a Sony TV!
Expensive, but tbh in this case you get what you pay for !

So far so good. Colors are vibrant. I had the geek squad mount and install the TV. I would highly recommend the geek squad as well. I also added a Sony Sound Bar that was on clearance. The picture is perfect using Apple TV 4K. I have no complaints on this TV and highly recommend.

I spent a lot of time reading reviews and viewing demo displays. After seeing comparable Samsung and LG TVs side by side, I honestly can say that I feel like I got the best TV for the price. I really liked the TV for $2599 but I love the TV at $1999.

Amazing picture quality, even with standard (non 4K) hd input.
I needed a tv that could handle a bright, skylit room as well as a dark room for watching movies at night, and this tv can do it all.

I had initially went cheap and bought the SHARP Aquos 75" 4K HDTV, but I immediately returned that thing. The lightbleed was absolutely awful, and the colors were blown out. It just wasn't the proper 4K TV I was looking for. So I decided to cough up the big bucks and I bought this TV. No regrets. The difference is night and day. It is absolutely stunning. I have this connected to my OPPO UDP-203 and Dolby Vision is absolutely stunning. HDR10 looks amazing as well. It's just phenomenal. I also have a PS4, Xbox One X, and Nintendo Switch connected to the TV, and they all display amazingly, even the Switch, which is not 4k?HDR compatible. It's just a stellar TV and I'm glad I decided to go big.

Great tv packed with many helpful features. The apps button helps find the streaming channels quickly. The tv button only connects to cable/satellite. You have to press input and then go to channels to use the antenna. Clear picture!

Great Home Theatre TV

This TV offers the best of Sony Bravia XBR technology in a jumbo sized package. Easy to set up, and the pre-set picture settings are very good offering everything from mild to wild picture quality which should satisfy the majority of viewers. Beyond the pre-sets, however, is where the fun begins for the home theatre enthusiast. Sony has made every possible picture adjustment available to the consumer so that even the most particular requirements can be met. Don’t worry about getting in trouble with the adjustments - with a press of a button you are back to factory pre-sets. I have been watching this TV for about four months and the picture quality still amazes me - bright enough for viewing in a sunlit room, yet still displays a broad dynamic range of accurate colors with subtle detail in both deep shadows and brilliant highlights. Highly recommended.

I picked this up at BB for 1999. You cannot beat the price. I upgraded from a SAMSUNG and the SONY is superior. I like the natural dark look as opposed to superficial brightness.
If you can get this price pull the trigger like I did.

My friends told me that Sony is the best and that is why it is double the price of any other branded tv. I love the picture quality but not able to differentiate it with my other LG and Samsung. Now here are the things that suck:
Remote control is from 90s. Too many keys and poor user interface.
TV have 10GB internal storage, but still I keep getting messages that storage is about to be full. I have not installed any app. Looks like just signing in for Prime, Netflix and Disney+ creates some internal buffer or cache that consumes all storage. I have to reset tv twice in last 3 weeks of ownership.
The Google assistant button on remote refuse to work many times. You need to connect remote manual to the tv Everytime to make it work
The Google assistant is unable to find the programs inside the app. Even a $25 fire stick can do it.
I keep thinking, what should I be excited about. The unit is now outside return period. Help me with something I should be happy about buying this expensive experience

I just discovered 4K and Netflix, and thanks to this wall-mounted TV, I am having the best summer ever! With a "direct to Netflix" button right on the remote control, watching Netflix couldn't be easier. And the shows they offer are amazing! Superb production value that explodes off the screen. I didn't opt for a sound bar. No problem! The sound from this TV is amply impressive for my large living room. As a side note, I also bought an Apple TV 4K and at first was watching Netflix through that, but I was continually frustrated because of the choppiness of the signal. Since this TV is a Smart TV with its own direct to internet capability, i used the Android Google Play access to Netflix, and it was flawless.

I previously owned a 65” X900F for a year and like the realistic, natural picture quality. So I decided to upgrade and buy a 75” tv. After reading lots of reviews on both Sony and Samsung they both sounded like equals in picture quality, motion, build, etc. So I first bought the 75” Q7 Qled by Samsung because it was cheaper. I had the tv for a week and returned it and bought the 75” X900F. Sony is the only tv that has the most natural picture quality in the market. Couple of dislikes however; 1. I’m not a fan of android smart tv but it works fine. 2. I hope Sony will add AirPlay 2 to this model tv for their loyal customers and hope they do so in the very near future. Aside from that, bottomline is you get what you pay for if picture quality is most important to you.

The Sony 900f is fantastic. It does everything very well and nothing poor. It is not oled or q9 quality but it also isnt at that price. Best middle of the road set for the $, although the vizio p series is closing the gap.

This tv has an amazing picture. The contrast is excellent due to the full array led backlighting. It integrates very well with my Sony receiver and 4k bluray.
