Best TV ever!

That was the flagship model back in 2009. This new sony is quick amazing! The OLED technology as well as the 4K clarity is simply almost unreal. I really, really enjoy this TV and quite honest fits perfectly in our living room as it's on a corner custom TV stand. Love this TV and hope it lasts for a while. Will probably get the exact same size if this one eventually dies.

The picture quality is stunning — deep blacks, vibrant colors, and sharp contrast make movies and 4K content look amazing. The Acoustic Surface Audio+ system is also impressive, delivering clear and immersive sound without the need for additional speakers. I’m using it mostly with a PS5, and the gaming performance is smooth and responsive, with support for 4K at 120Hz, VRR, and low input lag. It really enhances the gaming experience. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I wish it had more HDMI 2.1 ports. Still, it’s a solid premium TV that delivers excellent performance in every category that matters to me.

The screen is very reflective, giving me the saturated images — but still correctly colored that I want. Both the screen and the processor combine to give me an image that competes with professional monitors. As a semi retired film/video professional, I can tell you the image is fantastic. Sometimes I have to make sure to dial back the processed look — usually triggered by the TV’s sensitivity to how much light there is the room. If not a big sports fan, go with the cinema look. Built in sound is above average.

Great picture, but…

Only issue I have is keeping the connection with my optically connected speaker. For some reason it will revert back to the TV speakers. It’s really annoying to have to go to the settings and reconnect it back to my speaker.

A little glare with the lights on or if you have the window blinds up but not terrible. Great viewing angles. The software is meh all the settings are messy and confusing at first. I had sound delay issues on certain picture settings. Quality Sound bar or sound system is a must to make the perfect set up.

You can find these adjustments in the “Display & Sound” menu under “Ambient Optimization Pro” or “Ambient light sensor.” If the screen remains too bright or you continue to notice glare, you can further adapt the screen brightness through image quality settings to fit your room conditions.
We understand that some picture and software settings can initially feel overwhelming. Our TVs offer a range of customization so users can fine-tune to their preferences. For easier navigation, try using the “Quick Settings” button on your remote, which will provide access to the most used settings and help simplify the adjustment process. If you’d like to tailor your viewing even further, the “Picture” menu enables you to tweak modes such as Cinema, Game, and Custom for different activities, and you can find helpful descriptions directly on the screen for each option. Worried now relieved!

My first OLED and it's everything I expected. The sound is very good and I have a pair of Sony noise cancelling headphones that I had paired with a Samsung QLED, they were always crackling. Since pairing them with this tv with 3D sound pairing crystal clear. 1 to a 100 99.999.

My Sony Bravia 8 Oled

I initially bought the Bravia 9 mini Les but honestly Oled is just amazing. The tv size is great and fits perfects given I had to downgrade frim an 85” tv which was a bit overwhelming for my eyes given our living room is not that big. Tye sound is better than my previous LG oled but I also added a sono sound bar which makes it more enjoyable

Good TV, but sales associate lied about membership

The sales associate told me I’d have 12 months of price match if I paid $50 for a membership, but he lied to me. The price match was only good for 60 days. So, I canceled the membership after finding out the hard way when the price dipped $300 only 90 days after my purchase. I bought it at the Quail Springs location in OKC. Sales associate gave me false info.

I think I may have won the panel lottery. This thing looks Really good. Love the Quad leg positions and how easy they are to install. The thicker back on the TV looks great and feels very solid/high quality. HDR / Dolby Vision looks Amazing. Has great peak brightness. Very color accurate out of the box on most of the presets. If you get the Calman app, it will unlock Custom 1 and 2 for additional Settings options. The A95L is simply priced too high to make the stretch vs the Bravia 8.

Sony hit another one out of the park. I highly recommend this tv over the a95l that is twice as expensive. After owning several sony tv's over the years. I looked at several other brands but sony is the best.

Beautiful picture, Great OTA Tuner, Very good sound(for tv speakers). Football and Hockey games look amazing on this TV. It took a little adjusting to make the picture a little brighter, but worth it. I recommend turning off the ambient light sensor. Made a big difference for the brightness. I would differently recommend this tv is you are on the fence.

I got this to take the place of my older Sony OLED 65”. Good sound, and great picture quality that you expect from an OLED. Good menu and operating system.
