It obviously is a bit pricier than most but the quality and picture on this thing is sooo worth it !! Hardly no edge at all and color is beautiful !

The images on the screen are so crisp that it looks like they are in the room with you. We had a 65" 5-year-old Bravia TV and this one blows it out of the water! The built-in apps are most of the streaming services we use so we didn't have to add any. The only downside is the remote is smaller than our old one and it's easy to hit the wrong button when you have bigger fingers. All in all a great TV!

Phenomenal picture quality, poor user experience

In the 2 weeks since I've purchased this TV, I've had several instances of the TV automatically restarting...in the middle of watching a show. This occurred when viewing via a connected device (Apple TV 4K 3rd Gen), an internal TV app (Prime Video), and via antenna. Picture quality is phenomenal, Sony Pictures Core is great, Prime Video calibration is fantastic. All of that means nothing if the software is limiting the viewing experience. Lately I've noticed a quick flash of the screen when changing in-between scenes. Maybe it's this model, not sure. Back to LG I go.

Awesome TV and install.

The colors are rich, deep and the contrast is crisp between all colors. Anything in HDR is incredible, you can see the finest details. It looks better than real life. I also had BestBuy do the delivery/setup/mounting and they did a great job. I had it mounted in a bookcase and they made sure it was centered and I was happy with everything before they left. I would definitely have them install another TV.

A beautiful TV and a wise purchase

I watched local TV news, streamed NCIS on Paramount Plus (although strangely the pause function doesn't work, but that's an app problem) and then streamed Greyhound on AppleTv+. Greyhound looked and sounded so real in Dolby Vision and Atmos. Best Buy did a superb job of setting up the three new Sony TVs and two Yamaha receivers. I only wish this came in an 83 inch.

Bravia 8 OLED Picture Quality Is Exceptional

We've had other OLEDs before, but none compare to the Sony and its dynamic range. Blacks are truly black and colors appear natural. Very happy with this TV and would highly recommend it. I can't comment on the Sony's speakers as it's part of a home theater system so all sound it routed through an external receiver/amplifier and speakers.
