While we are thrilled you are satisfied with the exceptional picture quality of our 77" A80J, we are so sorry if you are unable to use the speaker of this TV as a center speaker of your audio system. This seems to be part of normal operation. The A80J is not compatible with Center speaker mode. However, this TV features our BRAVIA Acoustic Center Sync or S-Center speaker input which allows you to connect our compatible Sony soundbar/audio system such as HT-A9, HT-A7000, and HT-A5000 to the TV for enhanced audio playback using the TV as a center channel speaker in a multi-channel setup.
