I only need the the quality monitor as everything else is in my home theater equipments. This way I’m only paying for a quality monitor 77 inches and up.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this TV 9/21/21 and now on 11/9/22 it has stopped working completely. The OLED screen has encountered a problem and is inoperable. The repair cost of replacing the OLED screen is equivalent to a new tv. Unfortunately, Sony will not stand behind their product or even consider that this is a manufacturer defect. I understand it has a 1 year warranty, but we purchased this under the impression that it was top quality technology at a premium price which also meant superior reliability and that it would last much longer than it has. However, it is 7 weeks out of warranty and Sony has essentially said "too bad." I will also add that they have 1 (ONE) Sony Authorized service technician listed in Las Vegas - a city of over 2.8m people and that single service center was highly unprofessional and downright rude to deal with. When the TV did work, it was very nice. Great picture, sound and features but I will not willingly spend any of my money on Sony products in the future and suggest other buyers consider the same.

Best TV I ever owned.

When watching certain movies on HBOmax I was getting sound cut. After the update that problem was taken care of. Sony is on top of things. I now own the perfect Tv and it's 77 inches.

Don't buy a SONY.

Remote is a bit dated and lackluster for a $4,000 television but oh well. Fast forward 27 days TV won't turn on except for the RED flashing LED light. Tried using Sony's website for troubleshooting which was pointless as they have 1000's of different methods for various TV's but won't actually specify which might solve your problem. Finally I decided to call their customer support - which would be nice if their website actually provided a consistent phone number and accurate hours. You'd think for a billion dollar company they could do that. K finally got a hold of someone - They said sorry it's not working we'll send a TECH out to take a look in 24-48 hours. well 24 hours later I get an Email from Sony telling me I have to upload pictures of the problem... and the TV has to be on... I call back and say but, the problem is my TV won't turn on. Sony "support" replies with "upload a video" I said send a tech. To which they replied - well, after we approve the videos in 24 hours we will... okay it's now been 48 hours and they haven't looked at anything and I still have a broken brand new $4,000. with no reply from Sony. #dontbeasucker
