Not great for non 4K sports

I’ve tried a ton of different settings but nothing improved it. Wouldn’t buy again and will check on possible return

When watching lower-resolution content (like 720p or 1080i sports) on a large 77-inch screen, the TV has to do a lot of "up-scaling" work, which can sometimes look soft or blurry if the settings aren't dialed in. Before you pack it up, we recommend trying these specific adjustments:
Reality Creation: Go to Settings > Display & Sound > Picture > Clarity and set Reality Creation to Manual, then try increasing the Resolution slider to around 40-60. This adds artificial detail to make those blurry broadcasts look much closer to 4K.
Motionflow: For fast-moving sports, go to Motion settings and set Motionflow to Custom. Set Smoothness to 2 and Clearness to 1 (or Min). This helps track the ball and players without creating the "soap opera effect" or adding blur.
CineMotion: If you are watching through a cable box or a streaming app, try setting CineMotion to Low or Off for sports. This can sometimes conflict with high-motion broadcasts and cause a "jittery" or soft look.
Random Noise Reduction: Since non-4K broadcasts often have "digital noise," go to the Clarity menu and set Random noise reduction and Digital noise reduction to Low. This can clean up the fuzziness around players.
We also suggest trying the Standard picture mode specifically for sports, as it often has higher peak brightness and more aggressive processing than the Professional/Cinema modes used for movies. Thank you for choosing Sony, and we hope these tweaks help you see the game more clearly!

Great Product but disappointing customer service

I am a total member too. I recently bought a Sony OLED TV and I am extremely satisfied with the product but i was very disappointed on how Best Buy handled the price match. I bought the TV few weeks back for $2,099 and I asked the sales associate what if there is a better price as we get closer to Black Friday. Since I am a total member the sales associate said i have a 60 day guarantee to price match. A week or so later Best Buy reduced the price by 100$. So I went to Best Buy and they matched the price. For Black Friday they again reduced the price down by $ 200 to 1799 $. I went to the store and they told me I cannot price match second time which doesn't make sense. The store mentioned they cannot do it in the store and asked me to call a number. It was more disappointing to hear from the store associate that I should have taken the gamble and waited till black Friday so I could have done the price match once. How would me as a customer know when and by how much BB would reduce the price. Also when I bought the TV the sales associate did not tell me that i could only price match once. Also it is BB's problem if system wouldn't let them price match more than once. When I called the number provided I was told they cannot price match it again and recommended that I return the product. Now I have to go through all the hassle to get the $ 200 . In the last one month I bought lot of products from BB worth 1000's of dollars and not just this TV. I am a very disappointed customer and not sure if I will shop BB again. Anyone can do the math ..$ 200 vs life time customer

And I’ve had many -Samsung, lg, and different Sony models. This has the worst picture and motion movement I’ve ever dreamed of and turns itself off during watching shows etc. I’m a hardcore fan of Sony and have bought several models over the last few years- all being amazing. It’s like Sony made this and accidentally left off the xr contrast and motion smooth gradient etc and just decided to sell it anyway. Returned it for a A80L and it’s 1000x better. Had to pay 1500$ more but it’s worth it. I’d rather have my grandmas 15 yr old small Sony tv than this thing.

Not a great OLED! Don't waste your time or money
