problems from the 1st day

The apps on the tv would turn off the sounds, ie. Hulu. The app had to be uninstalled the reinstalled and it seemed to work ok then a week later again, the apps would lose sound. I was told it was the subwoofer, i bought for the tv, so I returned the subwoofer and boought a reciever per recommendation from the GS, the surround sound started good enough then the reciever is now blanking out with the sounds, both on apps and TV. Its frustrating, especially when you miss alot of the words while watching a movie. I almost launched my remote thru the TV!! It is frustrating and with this Corona going on, I have to wait to get some help getting this system working to get my monies worth. The quality of the video looks great and alot of times the audio sounds ok, but when Im watching moviesbits upsetting to say the least. Ihad the geek squad comeput to make adjustments and was even suggested that IF I used a amazon firestick it wouldn't lose sound. I angrily told him, I bought THIS particular Android TV to circumvent the added cost of the firestick! I bought this SMART TV and PAID the high price for the conveniences of using the apps already included!! So far I'm not happy with the intermittent sound coming from the tv as well as the receiver. It's killing my date nights with the wife of course she's upset with my choice!
