    I dropped cable and went to Hulu + so most of what I do is online TV and the apps freeze a lot. If I switch to antena Tv it freezes constantly. I have mine mounted on the wall, and so I can’t unplug the TV so every time you t freezes I turn it off like 4 times for it to reset it.

    The picture quality is ok. But if you watch tv at the night time more I will go for Samsung

    We have always purchased Sony TVs and have never experienced any issues until now. This time the TV was not functioning as it should - it would freeze, it was slow and at times, the apps would not even work! We had to exchange for a new one which was another hassle as Best Buy doesn’t acknowledge installs that are not their own. Hoping the new one functions properly!

    Sony TV is OK, but Polk sound bar is a disappointment, not using the Sony Blue Ray player

    Caution against buy anything Sony over 60 inch. The screens are not warrantied for any physical exterior damage and they are extremely easily damaged. It was a beautiful picture the few months before damage.

    Wish I could give ZERO stars on this TV. It was amazing up until the point it started having a mind of its own connecting and disconnecting from an imaginary Bluetooth device, when there were zero Bluetooth devices anywhere near the TV let alone on. Then it decides to just turn off one day and never turn back on. Had the TV for a Whole 1 1/2 years. Now we are out the $2800 that we paid for it. Nice money down the drain. I am going to stick with the brand that I have bought 5 TV's from (Yes still have those TV's too and they work perfect, oldest one is from 2008. Never had an issue) Only reason we bought this one is the brand we normally get didn't have a 85 inch TV biggest was 75 inch, but regretting not just getting the 75 inch now.

    Picture quality is decent. I wish I knew going in it was Android supported as I probably would have opted for another TV. It does require occasional updates and it has required a system reboot 3 times since I bought it. Not happy about that.

    I had nothing but issues with this TV from the moment I plugged it in, it kept turning off and resetting randomly, would drop WiFi although the router was LITERALLY NEXT TO IT! The blacks were more like a very dark gray and very streaky, etc etc. Geek Squad was contacted and even had come to take a look at it and I was told that they would probably have to replace the power supply and motherboard, THIS TV IS 3 WEEKS OLD!! Returned it and got a Samsung Q70R instead, I don’t think I’ve ever been happier with a decision.

    Do not purchase if you live stream I bought the XBR85X850G back in April. Initially I thought it was great, however when live streaming Hulu TV and ESPN+ live, the picture was not smooth, very glitchy. I thought it was my internet speed so I upgraded to 500mbps. After upgrading my internet the same issue occurred. I reached out to Sony customer support and they are blaming the issue on internet speeds due to COVID 19. Obviously this is an excuse for them to not address the issue at hand. I have 2 Samsung TVs at the house and neither one have this problem. Beware!

    Do not buy! Bought this tv, loved this tv. Heartbroken - less than 2 years later it no longer works. I bought a Sony because I believe in the brand and reputation, all my TVs are Sony. I was so let down…didn’t make it 3 years. Think twice before spending your hard earned money on a Sony.

    Can't beat the price. Easy to set up and use. This is my first 4K TV. Watching a baseball live broadcast was like having the players right in your living room. The upscaler is outstanding. This TV is compatible with Dolbyvision. I watch 4K discs through a Sony UBP-X700 player which has Dolby Vision in it. (It needs a firmware update). It has an Enhanced HDMI setting for use with high speed HDMI cables. I suggest using HDMI Cables with >18Gbps speed for the best possible picture. The Android TV is very fast. The voice remote works nicely also. I mounted this monster on my living room wall. It is very heavy

    Initially the TV was great for about 3 weeks. I then bought a Sony soundbar and started getting audio interruptions. I returned the Sony soundbar thinking it was the problem. I bought a Samsung soundbar and same audio issues. Resetting the TV fixes the issue for a while. Guess I’ll be making a call to Sony for help.

    already has a line in screen - sony customer support does not work with you much and are extremely rude in some areas. the tv has multiple issues with apps needing to be forced closed and reopened everytime the tv is turned off/on. sad to give this review as i expected much more out of sony - i should have just got the x900 or x950 instead or maybe a LG all together.

    Sony Wifi does not work. Dead on arrival. Delayed delivery by Best Buy and I cannot get a replacement or return now. Unable to install the TV due to the COVID 19 and cannot test the TV until now. The Wifi is broken and does not pick up any signal. The samsung TV next to it works fine and has great signal. Please Help!? Best Buy?

    Horrible didn't even last a year. I turned it on one morning and it had a bunch of lines that started appearing then I restarted it and it turns on normal the. The lines appear about 30 seconds later .

    Tv don’t not function right ever since I got it. And they charge too much money for insurance. Never getting buy from you guys ever again. Been trying to contact Best Buy but I haven’t got any help at all. Over all sad and disappointed!!!!!!

    Should have looked at reviews of this TV. Completely useless major problems with glitching and freezing also loses of sounds everytime it was used and also black and white flashes across the tv.
