    After 1 the screen started having issues and would not turn on. After 3 years this $3000 TV stopped working entirely.

    2 years after purchase, and panel goes on the TV. Rented a television for a thousand bucks a year.

    When looking for a new TV I debated between this Sony and the equivalent Samsung. I decided to buy this model since I have been a long time Sony customer and I thought I was buying a quality product when I purchased this TV. Sadly, that has not been my experience and I have had nothing but problems with it since I purchased it in February 2020. The sound continually cuts off even though it is hooked up to a new top of the line Sony soundbar ( all software updates are current ). I also continually fail to get a picture and get a message that there is no HDMI connection when, in fact, the cable is securely connected. I then come back an hour later and it mysteriously works. Today when I went to turn on the TV I get nothing but a black screen.....ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, so I can't even attempt to troubleshoot. Needless to say I am very upset about the time and money wasted on this product and now during the COVID-19 crisis I don't know what to do ? SONY or BEST BUY please advise !!!
