Beautiful picture and easy to use menus. Streaming video sometimes loops, but is fixed by restarting TV.

I had gone away from Sony for a while (mostly Samsung) but this TV was really good from a size/cost/function standpoint. You do need to play with the color a bit and to my untrained eye the colors may not be quite as vivid as the highend samsungs, but the picture is sharp and everything is fast and seems to work well so far.

I've had the tv a week now. The picture is awesome. The integration with uverse is great. The only thing I will say is - make sure you get it delivered. Its huge, awkward and fragile. Turn it on asap, I did it before I took it out of the box. I picked up the first time, we were very careful. It didnt work right out of the box, Best Buy service was incredible. Had a new one delivered 3 days later.

Set up is easy! And the picture quality is clear and crisp. The colors are vibrant. I love this tv!

This was the best of the 850g series because it is a direct lit VA panel...ALL other sizes are IPS panels which have horrible black levels. Panasonic plasma TV like black levels...not quite OLED but pretty dam close...just received an update on 12/2/2020 which really makes colors pop. This is the closest you will get to oled blacks in this size and price range!

This TV is huge with a great picture. Superb!!! Not sure why I waited to purchase.

My rating is low because I purchased it as an open box item. It had no manual and I feel like the remote I received is not the one for the tv. The biggest problem I have right now is reaching out to Sony to troubleshoot the “no network/WiFi” issue I keep having since I first purchased it. This part is SO FRUSTRATING because I have to keep unplugging it for the WiFi to connect. I still haven’t had it for 30 days and due to the Corona Virus crap, it difficult getting someone to answer the phone and come repair it. Sony’s phone like keeps saying their closed and I can’t get through to the right geek squad section. Beautiful part though is that I did pay for geek squad so I do know this issue will eventually be resolved. If I could get the open box deal again, I would do it over and over, I just wish this issue could be resolved faster. Outside of that, It looks absolutely beautiful in my basement livingroom and the picture quality is GREAT, especially when using the apps on the tv. Picture quality is not as crisp and real when watching plain old cable(looks like a regular tv). I’m spoiled and in love,... and worth 5 Stars or more.

It was definitely worth the weight as I was looking for it to come down in price a bit. The overall picture is great the only thing I can say and maybe I did not figure it out yet would be I don't think the picture mode changes from sports, games, movies, etc. I had to change it but maybe I am missing the feature to set to auto. Overall very happy with product so far as we only have had it a few weeks.

Again looking very much forward to and losing these 85 inch TVs they look wonderful in the show room and as soon as I get to my next home I plan on mounting them on the wall on my full motion Sanus warm out and then I will have a better idea of how much I like these TVs I’m sure I’m going to because they looked awesome in the show room

I went with full professional install and a wall mount and an external audio surround package. I’m able to watch things as the experience that they are intended as well as rewatch favorites in a way closer to the theaters I saw them in. Also the tv is smart and recognizes the other inputs and can automatically toggle to them when they are active (it’s friends with the PlayStation)

Got it for $900 off so it’s a good value at that discount. Won’t comment comment on sound because I use Sonos surround. Factory settings on the picture seem pretty great. Would be interested to see if pro calibration takes it to the next level. I’m an Apple user for phone, computer tablet watch etc but I do love the android interface with Sony TV’s.

Bought and had it installed on the eve of the Super Bowl. Did not get the settings right initially so l went back to the store and was told how to do it. Since then, it has been a joy to come home everyday and relax watching sports or movies. An integral part of any great home theater set up. Would be more than willing to recommend to anybody.
