Great quality, clear picture, amazing sound. Movie theatre experience.

This TV Simply wowed us. It was a Christmas gift for my husband and he said that this is the best gift he ever had. It’s so thin and big with amazing picture quality with great functions. Easy setups too. Nothing to complain about it at all.

Great picture. Great contrast. Bright. No motion artifact. Playing it through a Sonos Arc sound bar and subwoofer…. Super sound! No problems viewing it in a very bright room with wall to wall windows. No reservations or regrets.

I was looking to replace my main TV and always have been a Sony fan. The interface is VERY easy to use and the processor is FAST! One of my biggest issues is sluggish navigation and this X91J doesn't have the issue. Color & pixels are crystal clear. If you are looking to upgrade your TV - try this one first.

Great! Sony is the best. Picture and features are better than any other tv. No dull or flat picture and it’s still visible in high sunlight filled rooms. A lot of features and customization available as well.

We absolutely love this TV. My fiancé always watches games and says the quality is great for this. It is very user friendly and easy to use. We do not have “lag” time either when we switch from channel to channel (we have experienced that in the past with other brands). The only “con” to the TV is that it didn’t have the AT&T TV app, but we fixed that issue by purchasing a Roku to connect to it.

Bought this 85" Sony Full Array LED TV for the Great Room in my new house. Got TotalTech and made an appointment for delivery and install. Alejandro and Dylan from the Geek Squad installed this Sony 85" on the wall effortlessly and professionally. We have only had the TV for a month and are very pleased. It has a great picture from all angles and looks great in our Great Room. The colors and detail on this TV are very nice and realistic imo. I also purchased a Sonos Sound-bar and Subwoofer as I have found the speakers on all these flat screen TV's aren't the greatest. Sony's weren't terrible however, we prefer the sound from the sound-bar.

So far this tv has been awesome. Great colors and contrast. It's size makes it like we're sitting in a movie theater! Absolutely happy at this point!

Great TV. I upgraded from a Sony XBR-75X850E because I wanted a full array TV. The difference between the edge lit LED of the 850E and the full array LED is night and day. The difference when viewing darker scenes is incredible. The picture is about as good as you can get without going OLED; and, side by side in the store with an OLED, I think this full array holds up pretty good. Setup was simple and I easily wall mounted it with the help of my brother.

Easy setup, great picture quality for the price. Because of the turn in the stairwell, the delivery folks could not take it downstairs. They said they will not take it out of the box and take it downstairs. It took me and my two boys, with my wife directing traffic, to take it into the basement after removing it from the box. Once we got it downstairs, it was easy to setup and connect to a Marantz AV Receiver. I was truly surprised by the picture quality straight out of the box without much fiddling. It is not connected to any streaming devices, I am using the built in apps.

Money Well spent on good quality TV. Very clear screen, the sound is great. We dont have to the movies anymore because we now have the a big wide TV

Apart from its obvious size, this tv will give you the best image, picture, color and sound for your living room or entertainment area. You won’t even need a sound bar. The apps within are convenient and easily integrated to the ones you already own. I used to hate getting a new gadget coz I have to log in again with the username and password that I usually forget. Not on this TV, so long as you have a mobile device that’s connected to the same network, log in will be a tap of a finger! Awesome!

Great tv super clear and bright and it’s huge, pretty easy to get on the wall too.

LOVE this tv. Better than I expected to love it. Connecting it to my google home voice command has given me some difficulty but that could just be user error so don't take that too seriously. The biggest piece of advice I have is to make sure you have another person to help you install it. I thought I'd save money by not having Geek Squad set it up for me and it was much heavier and difficult to remove from the box and get it set up safely. If I had to do it over I would just pay for the complete install.

Those who say it's not bright enough need only to realize that the set ships with the Light Sensor ON. Turn it OFF in the settings. The thing will then spring to life. I adjusted the Clarity (sharpness) up higher, actually had to lower the brightness a bit for my media room, and it's absolutely beautiful. I have the 85" in a media room. Also own the new Sony 75", the new 50" (bedroom), and last year's model of the 65". Yep, I needed a few TVs for various rooms. Love the Sony and highly recommended, especially at Black Friday prices.

My review is 4.5 stars. Its a pretty nice tv. The size is amazing. After watching this 85 incher all TVs smaller will be hard to see as well. It dwarfed my 65 inch Samsung. Got the blue line of death after 5 years. So I tried Sony again. Im pretty happy with my purchase. We have only had it for about 2 weeks, so don't know about longevity. If you buy this and intend to use it in anyway with the browser apps available, set it up as google tv not standard. Also if the tv seems to always switch back to vivid within minutes of you changing it to something different you need to turn it off in the store demo mode section. All I can say is this huge tv will spoil you beyond measure. Make sure you have a wall large enough to fit it on. Its like having a movie theater in your house. My next tv will be the 100 incher hopefully by the time this one needs replaced the prices come down on the 100 inch. Seriously if you are on the fence, just buy it, it is very nice. People on the screen feel like they are in the room, especially sports. I took off half a point because its not perfect in presenting blacks. I usually leave the picture setting on standard, vivid is just to bright, and in the long run vivid will dim the light in the tv picture requiring replacement, kinda like the picture tube back in simpler times. When you study TVs like I did you see this stuff with blacks and motion etc, if you don't care if its the perfect tv available, you cannot go wrong with this X91J the tv is capable of presenting the best picture its input comes from. So make sure cable boxes and such are updated as well to allow the tv to present the best picture. Im picky, so I figure others out there are picky also, so I wanted to give a serious review from an actual customer to help the picky ones out. Buy it, you will have the best tv experience you have had in a long time.
