I bought it to start video blogging and it’s got a great feel, decent heft and is a credit to Sony designers and engineers. It’s f-ing gorgeous, pardon my French. But I don’t think I’ll use 97% of its features, and a smarter person would’ve bought a cheaper camera then upgrade if needed, or just bought this used. It’s a commitment and if you just wanna digital camera, there’s tons of cheaper options. I don’t regret the purchase but I need to give it more love and attention. Maybe a vacation from work and some intimate time with the camera will provide even greater enthusiasm. TLDR; a fine option for many, a little too much for most, perhaps too little for few, but a testament to Sony and their ethos Also, plenty of YouTube videos to get you learned enough to justify a purchase. Get it!

This camera works great. It takes outstanding photos and videos. It is very compact and easy to take anywhere. I would recommend this camera to anyone.

Fantastic Beginner Camera with Advanced Features!!

Super fast auto focus as well. It’s a great beginners camera with big features with the ability to switch lenses and add accessories onto the hot shoe (mic, flash, etc)

The autofocus is superb and well as low light photography. The 4k video is stunning. Of course, it is fully manual to allow for all the adjustment you need.
