Q: Can you connect the camera with your phone? To see or send the pictures and videos directly?

Q: Does anyone know if this camera has a skin smoothing effect for video?

A: Hi Josh, the a6100 only has soft skin effect when shooting still images (**when file format is set to JPEG). It does not have soft skin effect for video.

Q: Does this camera work well for streaming? I’m getting a new PC and was wondering if it would be good for twitch or YouTube streaming… can I connect the camera to my PC and use it as a source like as on OBS OR STREAMLABS? Pls let me know !! Thanks !!!

Q: Does this camera shoot well in macro. I'm looking for something that I can use for both filming beauty-style videos and also shoot ultra close up for jewelry specific shoots etc.

A: Hi IsabelleT, the camera will work well in macro if it is paired with a good macro lenses like the SEL30M35, SEL50M28, and SEL90M28G.

A: I would recommend the sigma 30mm or the Sony 50mm. Both perform great.

Q: Can you crop photos with this camera?

A: Hi Singer, the camera does not have the feature to crop photos inside the camera. You would need to export the images and crop them using photo editing software.
