Great Camera if switching to Mirrorless Type

I have used this camera for landscape and street photography and must say the images are incredible. There is a learning curve which can be quickly mastered, many options to customize settings which really makes it easy when setting up shots. I would recommend the SONY system as an easy transition into the Mirrorless platform.

I did some research on all types of cameras and I ended up going with the A7III. So far it’s been amazing! I use it mainly for travel, portraits and street photography and it exceeded my expectations! I would also say it’s a great beginner camera! Very pleased with my purchase.

A MUST HAVE CAMERA

It’s able to easily compete with Sony’s more expensive full-frame cameras. The dynamic range is incredible it blows you away at how much detail you can bring back in the shadows and highlights when shooting raw uncompressed. Autofocus is fast and good. Battery life is WAY better then their previous Sony models. This camera is great for photography and videography.

Great little camera for starters!!

It’s a great camera that takes awesome pictures and video. It’s perfect for what I intend to use it for, as I plan on spending the money on quality glass. I like how you can customize the functions on the various buttons, helps with familiarity. From the time I’ve spent with it, the autofocus does a pretty good job with just the kit lens but I’m excited to upgrade the lens. I’m giving 4 stars because the back screen can be a little dark in certain lighting and the software for transferring photos via WiFi to my phone is no longer supported so a hard connection is needed. Nonetheless, it’s a great starting point for a camera kit and I’m excited to push this thing to see how far it can go!

Great Hybrid Camera.

Don't like that the screen doesn't flip out, but there are workarounds. The camera isn't compatible with the new creators app and the old play memories app doesn't work with the camera anymore. Video and mic quality on here are great for the price point.

I'd been looking to go mirrorless for a while now but couldn't decide on Sony or to go with the Fujifilm XT-3 cropped sensor. After much review and comparison an stuck with my gut and stayed in the full frame category. I prefer to have true 1:1 lens ratios instead of cropped. While the lens that comes in the kit will be adequate for most, I will be upgrading to a better zoom with a 2.8 for those better shallow depth of field that the 3.5 just cant get. As far s the interface. I wish there was more touch screen capabilities other than the focusing aspects. The menu options like many other reviews have said feel a bit clunky but once you get your settings dialed in, you shouldn't have any problems. I really like the overall compactness of the camera and the quality of images I have gotten so far. I'm still playing around with it and getting used to the interface, overall I'm really impressed.
