Let me start out with this. This Camera will do the job in 9 out of 10 cases. I would have easily rated this camera at 5 stars. But sadly the "weather sealing" on this camera is almost laughable I have heard horror stories sense my purchase about a single drop of water destroying the entire camera. Now with that said if you do not plan to use this ever in damp or in rain (without protection) then you will 100% love this camera. If you do plan on using this camera in Damp or in the rain / snow I would highly recommend looking for something with a better weather sealing. i.e Sony a7r iv. The AF on this camera is fantastic I love it. The "Kit" lens that comes with it the FE 28-70 F3.5-5.6 is amazing sharp lens and can produce wonderful shots. The video options are fantastic and you can have some wonderful slow-motion shots if you decide to go that route. The picture quality is really good for the MP size the camera is fast and can do the vast majority of anything that you would plan on doing. I highly recommend this Camera especially if you have experience with camera. But if you are a complete beginner you will do fine as well, the Auto mode on this camera is wonderful. Honestly I love this camera so much, I just wish the weather sealing was slightly better.

All around, this is a great camera and best bang for your buck if you are making the jump to your first full frame camera. I switched over from Canon, and have not regretted it at all. The Eye AF is fantastic, images render very sharp, and is a good all purpose camera for photo/video. There are some downsides such as an 8-bit color system, and the live view feature goes away when my gimbal comes behind the viewfinder, but if those are my only gripes the pros definitely outweigh the cons. You'll know when you need to upgrade, but if this is your starting point you'll be good for a while. Last bit of advice, buy the body only. Get a better lens than the kit lens (which can hold it's own), but there are better options out there for around the same price, and you'll outgrow that kit lens in a day if you're not a beginner.

Google the reviews, this is the best all around mirrorless camera on the market. Great low light capabilities. Decent megapixel amount, I’ve printed quality detailed 12x18 pictures (probably could print larger). Of course you’ll need great lenses (which Sony has) but I absolutely love this camera! This is my first Sony camera but it won’t be my last. I’m shooting professional quality photography. Thankful that I went to Bestbuy and the geek squad showed me the canon I was wanting then showed me the Sony. Told me to do my research on my own if I chose to but the quality pictures they had on display at their camera center and their camera knowledge was plenty. Go to a Best Buy with a camera center. Those guys have the camera knowledge and can take the time to explain it to get you what you need or want.

Beautiful entry level camera. The kit lens that comes with this is decent, but you should always look for a better lens. Practice with the kit lens first so that you can figure out what kind of photography you're into and then purchase a lense accordingly. But other than that, this camera works wonders

As a hobbyist, I love my A7iii as my 1st FF camera, coming from a Nikon APS-C. Sony delivers a great 'basic' camera with awesome results for less than what other big name brands offer! I will surely be using this camera for years to come! One of the reasons I got this is the superb autofocus, it works as advertised! My shots are on point, pictures are sharp and clear, depending on your lens, of course. For those starting out in photo/videography, this is a worthy investment to increase the quality of your photos/videos! (will update more in the future)

I just bought this camera for a great deal. $500 off I would definitely recommend this camera to anyone. Don’t be afraid of the menu once you get familiar with it is a peace of cake. I was thinking of buying this camera for a while and finally bought it, coming from a Nikon D600 I totally loved the size of the Sony Aiii I know Nikon came out with a new mirror less camera but I have no regrets of buying this camera to me the size is perfect and the weight of it is awesome. Low light pictures and videos are great. If you’re thinking about getting this camera go ahead and buy it you won’t regret it. It’s not the same experience trying it out in the store then shooting pictures at the street, home or wherever you would like to shoot.

This camera is amazing. Its my second sony camera and its a really great buy.

Eye autofocus is lightning fast. Low light performance is killer. Video capabilities more than adequate for non-pro use. Great battery life with new model battery. Menus are tedious but exhaustive. Has USB-c but wish both card slots accommodated uhs-ii.

While not the latest from Sony, the A7III hit all my checkboxes for a reasonably priced full frame Sony camera. It's low light capability alone is reason enough to get this camera. 24MP seems to be a nice sweet spot between resolution and file size. I particularly like the compact size vs. a typical DSLR. The 28-70 lens is a decent lens, especially affordable as part of the kit sold with the body. I opted for "open box" and everything was perfect in the original box with full warranty. The savings essentially made the lens free, which is unbeatable without buying used. Best Buy shipped the camera quickly and ordering online was fast and easy. I hope to add additional lenses from Best Buy in the future, along with SD cards, spare battery, etc.
