Only downside is you can't see yourself filming unless someone is helping you. Other than that, this product is awesome. Would def. recommend. Picture quality is really good. Buy it you can afford it.

The lens is okay for starters, but I would strongly recommend picking up a wide angle lens like the Sony fe 12-24mm f/4 G (great for photos and my go-to for video recording) if you can afford it.

I’m just a casual photographer but have been using dslr cameras for a few years and would highly recommend this over a dslr. Only con for me is the price.

I'm loving it

I needed a low light camera, and it is wonderful for that. The auto focus and auto mode makes it a simple camera to take great pictures with even if you don't want to be able to control f stops and shutter speed.

Sony has done an amazing job with the kick up in the mirrorless camera world by staying ahead of the game in form and functionality. A monster of a camera

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I strongly suggest looking around for detailed reviews, so that you know what you are doing in getting this camera, you are dropping 2 grand after all, but that said, this is the former flagship Sony Full Frame camera and is an extremely strong performer. I take absolutely stunning photos with this camera and its low-light performance shooting in dimly lit clubs with the 85mm F/1.8 is phenomenal. I'm a big fan of the joystick and the plethora of dials and buttons, and the battery performance is extremely good (I haven't felt the need to purchase additional batteries yet, as I haven't come close to running out of juice doing shoots for an entire night). I somewhat regret getting it with the kit lens since I am replacing that lens with a tamron 28-75 F/2.8, but that is just a matter of replacing a $300 lens with a $900 lens. Long story short, I am in love with this camera and haven't really found a fault with it.

As long as you go through the instruction manual and learn how to use the menu, you will be all set. it’s a lot, but once you’ve got it down, it’s easy as point, shoot, snap!
