Great Camera, BUT Buying Online and Picking Up Not

My only complaint is that I ordered the item for an upcoming occasion and it was for pickup in store. The date listed online for pickup was perfect timing, unfortunately the online stock wasn't up to date with the online pickup date. It was out of stock at every Best Buy location, I had no choice but to wait for the Sony Manufacturer to send to the best buy store and then I could pick it up. I just wish it was listed as not in stock at store and I could of just ordered it to get shipped directly to me instead. Defeats the purpose of Buy online and pick up in store.

Alot more than basic

There are plenty of videos online for you to check out that help you learn the camera inside and out. I personally use Cine4 on a custom setting. Have gotten great results during the day and especially at night. This camera is amazing in low light.

Hobby Photographer - Professional camera grade

The autofocus is so fast, and the view finder being digital as well is an extra bonus. The photos I attached were used with the Kit lense it comes with, and they were taken through glass as well.

Amazing auto focus

I mainly got this camera to take photos of my dog because of how much she moves. The Sony A7III allows me to take really good photos of her even when she moves a lot due to the amazing auto focus.

Great Camera all around.

I know a lot of people say it’s not the camera it’s the photographer but I can honestly my sharpness improved drastically moving to this camera. The eye tracking is such a cool feature that in the right circumstances it’s almost hard to miss the photographer eye everyone looks for.

Even 8 years ago I was just an amateur. I went back and forth between the a6400 (crop) and this full frame camera. I’m glad I went for this one. I will tell you though, you want to budget for decent glass as well. I got an 85mm 1.4 sigma lens and it is amazing.

I would suggest getting a better lens ASAP as the kit lens is pretty bad. It’s great for a starting full frame camera. I sometimes wish I got the IV for the extra megapixels and video FPS but it’s been wonderful so far despite those two things.

I have no complaints regarding this camera whatsoever. One piece of advice would be to upload the photos directly to your laptop and email them to your phone from there. The app that allows you to transfer them from the camera directly to your phone is not only terrible to use, but it makes the photos lesser quality and adds a bit of blur to them. The photos I’ve added are taken by this camera with a FE 28-70 mm F3.5-5.6 OSS lens that I purchased as a bundle with it.
