Amazing camera

As a recording artist, speaker, wife and mother of three. This camera has been the perfect addition to help us capture amazing photos and videos. Sony A7 III is the best choice!

I'd been looking to go mirrorless for a while now but couldn't decide on Sony or to go with the Fujifilm XT-3 cropped sensor. After much review and comparison an stuck with my gut and stayed in the full frame category. I prefer to have true 1:1 lens ratios instead of cropped. While the lens that comes in the kit will be adequate for most, I will be upgrading to a better zoom with a 2.8 for those better shallow depth of field that the 3.5 just cant get. As far s the interface. I wish there was more touch screen capabilities other than the focusing aspects. The menu options like many other reviews have said feel a bit clunky but once you get your settings dialed in, you shouldn't have any problems. I really like the overall compactness of the camera and the quality of images I have gotten so far. I'm still playing around with it and getting used to the interface, overall I'm really impressed.

Great full-frame camera for all occasions!

Definitely glad I did especially after trying out the camera on a recent vacation. It’s a pricey upgrade but I know this camera will keep up for awhile. Overall, it’s an awesome camera with 4K video, fast auto-focus, and other features.

Has some learning curve to battle through coming from a Nikon but the footage and pics are very high quality and basically 4k/HD movie quality scene on tv

Amazing camera, well worth the price!

Was debating DSLR vs Mirrorless, and really glad I went this route! The body is compact and much easier to deal with than a dslr. I was worried that I wouldn't like the viewfinder on the mirrorless, but it has pleasantly surprised me - really clear and provides a great representation of what I'm shooting. The camera feels extremely well built, like it was machined out of a solid block of aluminum. Crazy fast shooting rate, and the pictures I have been able to take (even with my limited experience) have been really impressive. So many great features, I can't wait to learn and try them all. Was deciding between this and the Nikon Z6, the only thing I liked more on the Nikon was the bigger screen and better touch interface, along with a better viewfinder. But in the end I want to take better pictures, and for me the Sony clearly had the advantage there.

It's really handy that it "auto-detects" when you put your eye up to the viewfinder and switches from the screen to the viewfinder "screen." Great picture quality. No complaints so far, but only used on one vacation.

Great all around Camera for people at any level
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this Camera earlier this year. after doing quite a bit of research, I landed on the Sony A7iii. it is a somewhat difficult camera to set up, but once you do, the options that it has make it so easy to set your settings to exactly what you want in no time. one thing to note if you are going to get into the Sony ecosystem... the native Sony glass is not cheap! it is amazing though. I would definitely recommend this camera to anyone that wants to get into photography. If you're thinking about getting this camera, stop second guessing yourself and go get it. you will not regret it!

Mind-blowing performance

Image quality is incredible, dynamic range is outstanding and ease of use is excellent. The lens is...eh. It's a cheap kit lens but it does the job for now. Can't recommend this camera enough, but prefer to use it with the Sony 24-105mm lens.
