My 1st mirrorless Sony and not disappointed!

There are so many features and options on this unit, but its user friendly menu with programmable buttons makes it ideal. Sturdy feel yet easy to carry around. I def recommend if your looking for a mirrorless dslr!

Great Camera!!

I love filming and photography so I wanted something that would be decent on both sides. I’m a previous Canon owner and let me tell you, I’m glad I made the switch this camera was a great investment and I love how good it is in low light!

I have some learning to do yet but, that is part of the fun for me. I have been very happy with my new camera so far. I would recommend buying a Sony-Alha a7III Camera. I think the camera is a great value for the product.

Left S5 for A7iii

Moving to the A7iii all of those issues are gone. I started looking at the A7iv but decided to put the 700 saved towards a second lens.

Some minor adjustments like a articulate screen so one can see themselves recording might’ve made this camera just about perfect.

Just remember to be careful of your sensor, and make sure the lens is installed properly. I had some stains on the sensor after shooting a bunch of birds so I have to get them manually cleaned. :-( But overall this is a great mirrorless camera.

I was weary of if the coloring would compare to the cannon I previously used, and was shocked by how the photos turned out! Great buy! It was a learning curve, but once you take the time to learn it it’s great. If you’re already familiar with a Sony it shouldn’t take much at all!

The A7 III has all the features you would need for the photographer just starting out, as well as several pro features to tap into as you learn more. Both the still image and video quality is outstanding. Highly recommended!

Fantastic camera - but Mac vs. PC?

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I know this is probably the best of the mirrorless cameras right now, but I was just so used to canon/nikon I couldn't keep this. One person equated this to owning a Mac vs. PC, with the A7iii being the PC. It does it all - maybe even some higher specs - but just not as nice of interface. So instead, I returned and purchased the Canon EOS R for the better color and interface I'm used to. Might it be a mistake? Time will tell.
