Fantastic Camera

I've been using the A7iii for almost three years and love it. Very high quality images and in body stabilization with eye auto focus, can't beat that combo.

Great little camera for starters!!

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Being my first “real” camera, it’s been a learning curve for sure but as I spend time with it, I’m getting more acquainted with it. It’s a great camera that takes awesome pictures and video. It’s perfect for what I intend to use it for, as I plan on spending the money on quality glass. I like how you can customize the functions on the various buttons, helps with familiarity. From the time I’ve spent with it, the autofocus does a pretty good job with just the kit lens but I’m excited to upgrade the lens. I’m giving 4 stars because the back screen can be a little dark in certain lighting and the software for transferring photos via WiFi to my phone is no longer supported so a hard connection is needed. Nonetheless, it’s a great starting point for a camera kit and I’m excited to push this thing to see how far it can go!

Excellent FF camera

The menu system gets negged but it's not that complicated to learn. So far the shots I've got out of it have been outstanding, I was looking at a Canon or this and I'm very glad I went for the Sony. Highly recommend it.

Don't like that the screen doesn't flip out, but there are workarounds. The camera isn't compatible with the new creators app and the old play memories app doesn't work with the camera anymore. Video and mic quality on here are great for the price point.

It takes really good pictures. As a professional photographer switching from Cannon wasn’t very easy however the quality of the Sony camera is really nice as a mirror less camera

I’m just a casual photographer but have been using dslr cameras for a few years and would highly recommend this over a dslr. Only con for me is the price.

Planning on buying another one soon. The lens is what makes this camera even better, But definitely a fantastic camera for professional beginners looking to step up their production.

Amazing camera lacking some necessary features.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start out with this. This Camera will do the job in 9 out of 10 cases. I would have easily rated this camera at 5 stars. But sadly the "weather sealing" on this camera is almost laughable I have heard horror stories sense my purchase about a single drop of water destroying the entire camera. Now with that said if you do not plan to use this ever in damp or in rain (without protection) then you will 100% love this camera. If you do plan on using this camera in Damp or in the rain / snow I would highly recommend looking for something with a better weather sealing. i.e Sony a7r iv. The AF on this camera is fantastic I love it. The "Kit" lens that comes with it the FE 28-70 F3.5-5.6 is amazing sharp lens and can produce wonderful shots. The video options are fantastic and you can have some wonderful slow-motion shots if you decide to go that route. The picture quality is really good for the MP size the camera is fast and can do the vast majority of anything that you would plan on doing. I highly recommend this Camera especially if you have experience with camera. But if you are a complete beginner you will do fine as well, the Auto mode on this camera is wonderful. Honestly I love this camera so much, I just wish the weather sealing was slightly better.
