It's a great first timer or expert photographer camera for portraits, landscape or video/film. It's really user friendly and is versatile. I think it's lightweight but it is somewhat bulky but the handling overrides the bulk. Cant wait to take it on adventures.

Sony Alpha a7III is a GREAT camera

Glad I upgraded my 12 year old SLR!

The size and form factor is smaller and nicer. Low light performance is light years ahead of what I had become accustomed to. I will enjoy learning all of its capabilities, especially with stabilized 4K and slow-mo video.

I’m honestly so happy i purchased the a7riii and I’m able to buy the g master lens with how much I saved on the camera. It’s such a beautiful and powerful camera and I’m ecstatic to own it.

Everytime I have used it I am blown away at the images that it produces. I am mainly a stills photographer and I know this can produce some amazing video quality. Either way, however you plan to use this camera, you will not be disappointed.

Promising potential

I haven’t had much opportunity too use it yet, with the very cold weather we are having here in Central Illinois, but I am spending my time learning what this A7III can do, and I am quite impressed. I can hardly wait to get outside to make some memorable photos.

The system and the way to use it, is a bit different but once you get the hang of it and know it’s functions it works like a dream. Image quality is really good even with the kit lens and the video quality is just what I need.

Focus is great. The lens that comes with it is very decent. Download the pics( Videos takes loooong time) to phone if you want to post something or share with someone right then and there.

The S&Q feature for slow motion video is sweet The kit lens isn’t all bad either it’ll get you going at least so you’re familiar with the camera. Definitely recommend a better lens though. Otherwise this camera is awesome. Image quality is very good.

It's one of the best mirrorless options available right now, even though it's an older model. I use mine primarily for video and it's great. Best Buy had it on sale for $1,899 as opposed to the usual $2,199, so I had to scoop it up.
