    Nice camera. The autofocus gets a little wonky at times. My primary camera is the A7R4, and it will stay my primary camera until I go to the A7R5.

    This camera is incredible. I love it! The build is extremely solid and I love the button layout, not to mention it takes amazing photos!

    Overheated fast! Defective maybe??

    Could just be the model I had but even after adjusting the settings it would still overheat and shut off after about 20 minutes of recording. Everything else about was great but the overheating makes it not practical at all. Returned as defective.

    Nice! But Expesive! Have to buy lens seperate ! Not sure if it is worth the cost

    Shutter issues

    Just don’t. Go with Nikon or Canon. I’ve had two within 10 months and luckily the warranty covered it. I will be saving for a different brand. Never again

    I actually haven't even gotten a chance to try it out. I was away for work when it was delivered and no one was available to sign for it. Neither Best Buy nor UPS were willing to work with me on a suitable delivery method that fits my work schedule. I even offered to drive in and pick it up from the UPS facility when I was available. NOPE!! Instead it was sent back and Best Buy charged me a whopping 15% restocking fee for something that was NEVER opened!!! Further more, I am unable to get ahold of anyone at Best Buy because their customer service agents work the same time I do. I am furious!!

    I would not recommend this camera if you want it for the eye auto focusing they claim is so great. It is terrible. The green focusing box is jumpy and vibrates as if it’s trying to focus on the eye but can’t nail it. More than half my shots are focused on the eyelashes, eyebrow, or side of the eye...rarely on the iris itself. Best Buy won’t let me return without charging a 15% restocking fee, which is ridiculous considering it’s a defective camera. Sony is looking into the issue because this is a common problem that many other people are having. If you’re considering purchasing this camera...wait until Sony has corrected this issue. And whatever you do, purchase from another retailer who won’t charge you to return a defective camera.

    My order delivery date was 22nd November but they are still not delivery my order today is 25th November. I’m really disappointed

    Sony A74!! This camera is fantastic, hands down. And I love the ease of use and user-friendly menu made it extremely easy to set up. I just recently used this camera as my daily-driver for a few shoots that just passed, and it exceeded my expectations.
