I do have the eye AF issue that others are experiencing and hoping that Sony releases a firmware to fix it. Other than that the camera is awesome. At this time, I wouldn’t recommend this camera until there is a fix from Sony.

We have confirmed that objects in front of the eyes such as eyebrows, eyelashes, and the subject's nose may be in focus instead of the eyes. • In low light situations, increase the depth of field by stepping the F-stop value up to a higher setting.
• For example, move from the lowest settings of F1.2, F1.4, and F1.8 to F2.8,F3.5, or F4.

Excellent Hybrid Mirrorless Full Frame Tool

This camera espeically being a hybrid just packs a punch. I originally had the Sony A7 II, which I now use a my secondary/backup camera. A7 IV is my new baby. Besides the initial 4K video overheating issue, it's a great all around beast.

Amazing but one issue to consider

Obviously you can just let it cool down but is not practical for working during a photo session or a wedding/event where you cannot tell you clients to hol the moment meanwhile. Game changer when this happens.

The camera has a function that allows you to record longer before it shuts down to prevent overheating. To activate this function, go to MENU → (Setup) → (Power Setting Option) → (Auto Power OFF Temp.) then set it to High. Coming from a6000, focus speed and precision are unbelievable. In body image stabilization does miracles. Noise free ISO 400 images. Finally can concentrate on more artistic aspects like composition, posing, light etc.
