This camera espeically being a hybrid just packs a punch. I originally had the Sony A7 II, which I now use a my secondary/backup camera. A7 IV is my new baby. Besides the initial 4K video overheating issue, it's a great all around beast.

Coming from a6000, focus speed and precision are unbelievable. In body image stabilization does miracles. Noise free ISO 400 images. Finally can concentrate on more artistic aspects like composition, posing, light etc.

Amazing but one issue to consider

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing camera, but I'll give one a bad point on the overheating, is not cool at all that you spend so much in a new camera en it overheats after using it for what it is for. Obviously you can just let it cool down but is not practical for working during a photo session or a wedding/event where you cannot tell you clients to hol the moment meanwhile. Game changer when this happens.

The camera has a function that allows you to record longer before it shuts down to prevent overheating. To activate this function, go to MENU → (Setup) → (Power Setting Option) → (Auto Power OFF Temp.) then set it to High.
