I wake up excited to use it everyday! It performs well with the kit lens.

But after just past that year mark where the warranty no longer covers it, of course my shutter is going out already. I love my camera I’m just super upset that it hasn’t lasted as long as I thought it would before I had to put money into it and fix it.

The SD compartment won't open! It's stuck, I can't even ply it out. Now I have to waste my time exchanging it at the storefront and wait another week to be shipped.

Camera is a dust magnet. Stay away,

Without any lens change also got severe dusts on the camera sensor. The dust kept on returning even after cleaning the sensor multiple times using a proper cleaning kit. Stays good for few pictures and then the dust reappears. Amazing colors and photos otherwise. As per reddit looks like a common occurrence Sony A7 series. Returned it but best buy charges 15% restocking fee. So be sure if you do want to buy it.

Went out with wife in snow and used Auto mode.. every photo is out of focus.... It was hard to spend time to go out in snow in negative temp but turns out to be a worst pics ever. I could be more better if I use my Samsung s23 ultra. To total waste of money

Motherboard will fail if use professionally.

The motherboard failed. Our photo shoots lined up and lost money because I had to send it back to Sony or to be diagnosed repaired then sent back. Took 3 weeks.

Impossible to update and no connectivity features

So i had to return it. I'm still waiting for this camera to be in stock so i can try it.
