Amazing Camera!
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This is my first major camera purchase, and I have been blown away by the a7iv thus far. It is very to pick up this camera and start shooting using the amazing auto mode. I have dabbled with manual settings via phone cameras, and transitioning to this camera is not too intimidating. It's like it wants you to get to know it better. Also... the eye AF and low light shooting are amazing!

What an upgrade!!!
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I recently upgraded from canon t6i to a7iv ( with sony 200-600mm lens) must say I am amazed what an upgrade its been. I shot wildlife photography and the autofocus works great. The camera struggles at time when shooting bird in flight with trees in the background. But over all Iam happy with my purchase.

Good Hybrid Full frame camera, bad packaging
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.Received my camera yesterday , it seems really good so far, will explore it thoroughly in coming days. Although not very happy with the packaging, the outer box was kind of flimsy, Also the camera box did not had any seal. Found one small speck on the sensor cover too.

5 year ROI beast
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed. As a shooter of Canon for over 20 years, my friends and professional shooters pals thought I was joking when I said I switched to Sony. As a pro you can only accept freezing up and overheating on shoots so many times until you’re fed up. Especially when Canon said it was a memory card issue or how I should shoot long form interviews. The band the Canon R5C as a recalled version of the R5. Either way I’m glad they did because the A7IV is lighter, the glass is smaller and just as good. Shooting with the updated menu system, touch screen, higher quality EVF and improved color science has made using this camera an absolutely joy. I’ve had it for a month now and shot 4 commercial jobs and I haven’t had any issues. The colors and performance is top notch and I now get why so many shooters have been screaming from the rooftops on how much fun the Alpha system is to work with. Creating art and delivering my best to my clients is goal number one, having gear that allows me to do that with very little interference is the next. I highly recommend this camera.

My beautiful beast!
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed. My previous camera was an a6100. I've been lucky to have some paid gig enough last year that I decided to upgrade. I researched this camera well in advance before purchase. So I already that it's for me. Section 1: Transition from A6100 to It took a minute for me to adjust to the following. - Extra customization button. Helps a lot! - Screen flip. - Adjust to having more flexibility with dials. - Initially, the camera had no battery life so it took some time for it to charge at first. These are only observations, no complaints. Section 2: After about a week or so. - I like the menu tabs on the right-hand side vertically. - Excited to have two memory card slots. Waiting for CF express to come down in price - Stoked about the increase in MPS. I tend to print large so it helps - The form factor is good as my hands can get a portion of the camera. Section 3: What I didn't Use. - Video. Mainly because it is not required of me. However, I do want to use it for family gatherings Wrap up: All in All, the a7iv is right for me. I am still learning how to be more effective with having more options available to me. I've been testing the camera with the kit lens and it's ok. I did take pics with a 20 mm 1.8 G lens as the kit lens will not do it justice. The uploaded images were only modified to upright positions and converted to JPEG with LR. Nothing else. Also, I took a walk for 1hr and 15 minutes. The battery life at 75 percent. I took about 65 images.

Sony a7iv is amazing!
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Love this camera. I’m mainly sitting photos but I’m not complaining about the video capabilities of this camera. I tested out the video portion and I enjoy it. Does everything I need. Battery life isn’t as long as my a7iii but it’s still lasts a long time. I have spare batteries anyway just in case. Overall love this camera. Especially presets for every mode. The flippy screen is cool and useful but I can take it or leave it. You’ll enjoy this camera. Bird autofocus is pretty awesome

The mightiest upgrade from an avid a6000 user
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I don't do video, but this does exactly what I wanted my a6000 I have had for years do and it does it exceptionally well. The autofocus, the dynamic range, the color depth, paired with the SEL200600G I feel like a pro motorsports photographer now!

The SD card slot IS NOT BROKEN :)
||Posted .I still need to use this camera but wanted to write a quick review based on a review below. The SD card slot is not broken, when you pull the open slider instead of waiting for the door to spring up you have to SLIDE IT FORWARD and then it lifts up.
