I went to Bestbuy because I wasn't sure on brand or model. When I asked for a knowledgeable sales agent they paired me with Kenneth. He begain my education with helping me understand the importance of the image sensor and then brand. Photography is a passion for him so his knowledgeable showed through. I chose Sony based on their technology lead and the model based on a price and feature comparison . Thanks Bestbuy and Kenneth

I'm a die hard Canon guy and decided to go Sony after a year of researching for a new camera. The focusing on this is really fast, images are crisp, camera ergonomics excellent, the flip screen is a plus. The extra megapixels comes handy when you zoom on a photo. The included lens is decent, but would want to upgrade sometime in the future to a G series or zeiss lens. I love the dual SD card to separate videos from photos.

Easy to set the camera and there are so many options! I didn’t realize there isn’t a flash which I had to buy separately. Other than that, I am in love with my new camera!

If you do video, there’s some good upgrades. I like the new menu and flip out screen tho probably not needed. The touch interface is nice, I like the new dials too. Af is good. But it all comes down to what you wanna do or how you use your camera. I think there’s a slight difference in color science. Currently I’m just shooting heif/ jpeg. And they look great out of camera, don’t have anything to process the raw files at moment. I would say get it if you’re coming from a older gen and is a hybrid user. If your moving from the a73, it’s up to you.
