One of the best purchases i’ve ever made

Bought with the kit lens (28-70mm) and was very impressed how well this thing shot straight out of the box on auto settings. I’ve since gone lens crazy and have found more ways to push this camera whether it be landscaping, astro, portrait photography or streaming/vlogging. I highly recommend this camera for the beginner up to pro photographer/videographer.

Excellent Hybrid Camera

Seemed like a good camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Not a fair review but I paid so much money for a camera with a faulty autofocus system. After trying four lenses it just would work as it should. I returned it and paid the difference for an A7R5 that works like a charm. The only problem now is that it showed there was already 649 pictures taken before I even used it. Therefore it was either a return or someone decided to test it out, put it in the box, and sell it as new. I love Best Buy, but they need to do better in the camera department for sure.

Had it for a year and I haven’t really had a problem. I would say it does over heat a little too fast when you are recording but other than that I love my camera

To extend the time before the camera displays the overheating icon and shutdown, we suggest to avoid shooting under direct sunlight and as much as possible do not record with the camera handheld. Brilliant EVF and LCD screen. Works well in low light situations. I shoot mostly still rather than video. The battery will last through a day, but would carry an extra.

Started taking maternity pictures and really love the camera quality and how easy the ecosystem is. Made it super easy for file transfers to mobile phones and updating the software. Highly recommend and can't wait to use it more!

The Sony Alpha I've Been Waiting For

The tap to focus option with live tracking of human/bird/animal is very fast and accurate and has given us some really sharp photos on moving subjects. The hand feel is large for my hands especially with a larger lens but my husband loves it. I am happy with the buttons to switch between photo and video and maintain separate presets, much more friendly than other setups.
