For a benning photographer this is a great deal. I couldn't pass up the open box deal Best Buy had on this model. I've produced some great memories with this camera already. Fast shutter, great low light performance and when combined with the the 50mm Sony prime Lense it gets wonderful bokha

My camera hit the ground from a small height of about 1 foot yet it damaged the lens. I went on vacation overseas and bought the camera for the occasion but could not use it much. I have Nikons and Canons but since this was very light I bought it. I never had such a problem with any other camera ever even though they fell sometimes.

This is my first time purchasing Sony products. I was very pleased with the overall function ability of this camera. The Sony focusing system is better than any other Nikon or Canon system I've ever used. This is been a great purchase.

I've had it for almost a year, and it made me dont wanna go back to Canon! I was a rebel t2i user, I was happy with it, but that bulkie body did not wanna go out to many places! And if you shoot raw u have lots to recover and crop after.

Sony camera much to learn in the many functions available for photo improvement

Great camera. This has a wonderful focus. Just wish they had more lens options. But that will come with time of the product being out in the world

After speaking with several in-store personnel, including a Sony rep, I purchased the a6000. The goods: No shutter lag Impressive iso range Fairly easy to learn the Sony system Menu, while not intuitive, isn't overly difficult. The best electronic viewfinder I've seen. The Bads: TERRIBLE battery life. High noise at high iso Poor low light performance Poor color reproduction Sony app performance spotty, at best Quite possibly the worst consumer website of all time. WiFi from camera to anything else spotty at best. And the number one kicker, for me, is there appears to be NO Sony native software, at least for the Mac, for browsing and viewing/converting your photos, especially if you're shooting raw. I'm left with going through Adobe products for the ability to even look at the photos, which just slows things down to a snails mosey. All in all, a rather disappointing purchase. In optimal conditions, it's a fine little camera, though the "little" part of that equation takes some getting used to. But optimal conditions are few and far between. I'm not going to get rid of it until I get a decent lens for the body. Part of the issue may just be the kit lenses. I would not recommend this to a person who is serious about photography, as Sony seems to have gone out of their way to be unhelpful. Buyer beware!

I got a great deal on the sony a6000 with two kit lenses. I got rid of my Nikon and I'm never looking back! This camera is easy to use and takes great pictures and video. I can't believe I was lugging around that heavy DSLR for so many years! The sony is small, light and easy to travel with.

I like this better than other my Camers I am using it regularly
